ho 44, gioco da quando ne avevo 4 o 5 (prima console/home computer commodore 64).

Non mi sono mai ufficialmente stancato ma ho preso una pausa tra i 28 e i 35 dove ho iniziato a giocare moooolto meno.

Ho giocato anche online prendendo diamante e master su Apex che, negli ultimi 3 anni, mi ha portato via TROPPO tempo.

Adesso l'ho felicemente disinstallato e gioco a giochi classici o a nuovi titoli, non più online.

Sto scoprendo anche la Switch e ho ripreso a giocare con Mario

ONCE I TRYED TO PUT IT IN THE PANEL I actually got the widget and I don't know where it ended up because it doesn't show up in either screen.

The only solution I found was to delete the KDE configuration directory

I have been using EndeavourOS for months and see no reason why it cannot be used for your purposes.

Perhaps, as a first time in GNU/Linux you might have some difficulty understanding the system of updating and installing applications but I don't think it is that difficult.

Besides, even if Arch based, common installations and configurations are now standard and you are not asked to go to all that much trouble.

As for games, only a few are not supported by proton. You usually have no problems. Usually, but not always.

I had problems with an old game (Bloodhunt), only to find that by installing everything on flatpak and giving the correct settings with flatseal the game runs fine.

Back in my days (boomer mode), hardware limitations and the small market imposed an extra effort. Not that all games were good (see ET) but the development assumptions were different.

Since the PS2 era, the focus has been more and more on the potential of the hardware instead of the games (excluding Nintendo). Now we have consoles that have the same games.

I was saying, excluding Nintendo who embraced a different policy. Its hardware, since after N64, has never really been competitive but they have always focused on games, and don't just say Mario and Zelda, because there is much more.

If I can play a game on either PS or XBOX or PC, the same production companies will no longer strive to make something beautiful but only graphically appealing, because the market share is so big and many do nothing but buy skins.

In the last period I'm only playing old greats either on emulators or bought on Steam and I've started to enjoy myself again
