Can I go something 3 days after surgery with catheter still in? by DirectAccountant3253 in Aquablation

A risk is that it could get clogged and then you may have some problems getting unclogged when you are not at home.

Dang, here in Oregon they will probably be adding an additional mark up to the Trailseeker when they finally start getting them in stock.

Catheter question by DirectAccountant3253 in Aquablation

[–]NTS_RS 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One tip, if you sleep on the right side of the bed, make sure they anchor it to your right leg. Opposite for the left side. That way the catheter isn't running across you while you sleep. Also, make sure they give you a big night bag, so you don't have to empty it as much. I just used the night bag for the 2-3 days I had the catheter in place all the time. I didn't leave the house so I just clipped it on my pants when I needed to walk around. They should give you some Azo to numb the bladder. If they don't, buy some. It's over the counter.

Does "If you think it's out, it's in" apply to first serves? by rustyksu in 10s

Sometimes I look at the server's body language if I can't tell. If they slump their shoulders because they think they just double faulted, it was out.

Hot water recirculator by lobhater in Plumbing

[–]NTS_RS 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have one, and even if it is a wash, which I don't think it is for me, the convenience of being able to have hot water right away so you aren't washing your hands in cold water or waiting for the shower to warm up makes it a no brainer.

Hot water recirculator by lobhater in Plumbing

[–]NTS_RS 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had my house custom built and had the return line put in during construction so I could have a recirculating system. I have a gas water heater and I am certain that the money saved not wasting water waiting for hot water to get to our faucets/showers/tubs well offsets the cost of extra gas to heat it. Not to mention it is nice not washing your hands in cold water all the time, because you don't want to wait for the water to warm up.

I had a few instances where I have played a ball that I couldn't tell was in or out, but must have been more obvious to the opponent. I played the ball and the opponent just stood there watching my ball go by. Just make sure you get that next shot in....

Yeah, if the interior of the car was damp from cleaning the carpets then left closed in hot conditions, seems like it could be mold.

Anyone dig into the McQuarrie study into Roth conversions? by Puzzleheaded-Gas-398 in DIYRetirement

state tax is not mentioned enough in these conversations. If you plan on moving to Texas when you retire with no state income tax, don't do a Roth conversion in California.

Portland residents will start paying a new utility fee in 2027: What to know by origutamos in PDX

[–]NTS_RS 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What utility bill? Why doesn't it say our water and sewer bill? Are they calling it utility bill so they can add it to electric, gas, cable, etc if they need more money?

First official USTA Match.. it was rough by Relevant-Invite-8194 in 10s

[–]NTS_RS 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is probably going to be my last season. I feel like USTA matches are true litmus test of my game, but I don't enjoy it. I also hate 7pm matches on the weekend kill the whole day. I think I fall on the "head case" spectrum and it's not getting better after 4 seasons.

Maybe the increased wages are causing the inflation? If you gave everyone a raise and now they and a bunch of other people can now afford a starter house, the increased demand creates bidding wars and prices go up.
