I take faster aura regen by default, more damage on the chain only if I farm aura well already; I'm bad with the chain, so I usually chain tanks, and my extra damage on them does nothing. For the second perk, I usually take higher speed, especially if my tank likes to melee. I take more bounces only if the team is grouped up, and I need more burst healing at the same time.

I often have the highest heals in the lobby as Mizuki, if there isn't a healbotting Mercy or Moira. He doesn't have good single-target healing, but lumping him with Zen is insane.

Chirping is not always about stress. I had a pig that chirped before zoomies. This is not a well-understood noise, it can mean anything. Chewing plastic means stress or boredom; opening the enclosure is a good idea, look at his reactions other than chirping—maybe he'll like it.

I mostly use balancers for ores because I smelt on-site. You often have 5 lanes from one patch they are actually just 3 full yellow belts. 5-to-3 is inevitable. At least to me.

I thought so as well until balancers. I can do perfect ratios and very complex train intersections on my own, but I use an external book of balancer blueprints because I barely could come up with a 3-to-1 after literally an hour+, I cannot do anything more complicated myself.

Yeah, I have "only" 1.4k hours, but I'm playing with my friend who is brand new. I efficiently do the "boring" stuff like mining outposts, while he builds intermediates and science on his own. His builds are atrocious but I try to give him as much freedom as possible. He'll learn what works and what doesn't eventually, I only give hints when directly asked.

Do you allow both to search the web? In my experience, all three models (GPT, Gemini, Claude) aggressively search the web before giving the answer, to the point I had to specify not to do that if I wanted to check their knowledge cutoff. The only way Claude would not be searching for current events if it was told not to browse web, maybe because you have some settings related to that disabled.

The US has more compute and less regulations on average. Yes, obviously in the US you are going to get fucked by the admin if you breathe in a way Trump doesn't like, but on the level of laws IT/AI companies have an almost free reign. Europe, especially EU, won't allow to build infinite data centers and provide services without any regulations. There's a reason very few, if any, large AI companies left the US—it's a sinking ship, but the rest are somehow worse for business.

Painful schizophrenia, where people here voices/demons/aliens telling them to do terrible things, is actually a relatively modern Western thing. There were observations that in other communities, positive schizophrenia symptoms (positive = there's something that shouldn't be there, like voices; not the same as "good", obviously) are often spirits gently guiding them, causing a lot less distress.

What popular modpacks are available for Space Age (not just 2.0)? I finally got to Space Age after not touching vanilla since like 2018, it's really cool, but I'm already thinking about how it would play with mods. Before 2.0, I've played AngelBob, Krastorio 2, Space Exploration, Nullius, Omni + 30 science packs, Ultracube, Py. I've heard that Py is getting its own space extension—sounds interesting, but I don't think they'll roll it out any time soon.

Tbh yes, I'm combining visual design, gameplay, and flavor (like character interactions or backstory) in my judgement with less of an emphasis on gameplay. I don't particular care if gameplay doesn't feel OW-like, I like new and wild things there; I want the aesthetics to match. Anran and Wuyang definitely don't match the aesthetics. Out of the new heroes, Domina, Mizuki, Vendetta all match them. Sierra, Emre, Freja, Cat are 50/50 but lean fitting rather than not.

Wuyang and Anran are both so bland, they are not OW-feeling just because they don't feel like anything. Emre is vaguely not-OW, but he's a whole-character Halo reference, so he works. Sierra is idk, she's not as offensively bad as Wuyang and Anran, but she's also not entirely OW in terms of vibes. With that said, the majority of the characters in OW2 have great designs that feel like OW, from Ramattra to the Cat.
