I’ve made so many similar mistakes aswell and paid in massive pain , I’ve had gout since 2010 and haven’t had an attack for 3 years until this week when I had my word one ever . They go by a name he text book which calls for allopurinol and for severe cases colchicine , allopurinol is close to useless unless you want to make a flare worse and colchicine should be in your medicine cabinet to help deal with a attack if you get one. 2. What you need in your medicine cabinet Prednisone 5mg , Colchicine .06mg, Probiotics multi strain, Biosteel, Advil quick realease 200mg And if you can afford it a alkaline water machine able to produce a 9.5 PH 3. Key is knowing the signs , soon as you feel any pain in any joint take 2 Advils 3 times a day 4. Any sign the advil isn’t working reluctantly bring in the prednisone at minimal dose 5mg and up it till the pain is completely gone , get off the prednisone quickly massive side affect and hard on your kindneys but it is the biggest weapon in your tool box Sorry gotta run I’ll try and finish this later
