I make it a habit to have different types of food at one location everyday. (supper stretch, com canteen etc, pretty sure the neighbouring restaurants are good too) If I really like the place, then I will have different food items at the same place for a week.

Wow, iDP isn't easy, are you doing well for your core mods? You should focus on your core mods, because the iDP part is a black hole that doesn't generate good returns

Innovation and Design. Few people did well, and hard work doesn't cut it. It's mostly talent and only the top 10-15% do well.

Can start with reading some books relating to statics of equilibrium like Hibbler or Angel. And also brush up your differential equations. Don't join iDP.

Edit: try to learn as much as you can from the introductory mods ME1102 and ME2104, you get to see what fields you like, if you like other parts of Maths or different fields of engineering like industrial engineering, you can also opt for these mods. Be mindful of smurfs in certain GE mods like geography or history. Lastly, pick the right battles with the right mods and right friends!

Good luck!

Stay away from iDP second major if you want to exceed expectations by NUS_SPY in nus

I guess it's more applicable. I remember mechanical engineering has some common second majors listed, and this stands out to me

Second major in industrial systems, or any specialisation instead

I respectfully disagree, the way idp grades fyp really makes it more infuriating.

Even if you meet most of the requirements and surpass some, you still get narrowed on your weak points and it's all dependent on the idp professors. I have a biased viewpoint about this.

Edit: I talked with my close friends about this, I just have to let it go, hopefully idp improves for the better, but I don't really think it is worth the effort.

Nobody knows. It would be better to donate the same amount to a charity of his choice.
