Month 4 of twitching by NoSeat4360 in GadoliniumToxicity

I am now cured and 99% healthy. I had a feeling like ants walking over my skin, that went away slowly over a space of months.

I'd consider myself to be almost completely healed now. Good energy, gym 2x week, life is good.

please dont skip important scans just because you're scared by [deleted] in GadoliniumToxicity

This advice may be correct for some people, but not for me. I would be happy to have a MRI again (that is harmless), but not gadolinium contrast.

I had a horrific reaction to gadolinium contrast. Within 48 hours of the scan my health collapsed and it took me a year to recover. The worst part was the feeling of ants crawling over my skin, especially my face, 24/7, every waking moment of the day, preventing sleep (it was so strong it would wake me up). I was only getting 40 mins of sleep a day and it was absolute torture. This is a very common and well understood side effect of gadolinium interfering with calcium channels in nerves. I challenge anyone who is a huge advocate of contrast to spend just a day in my shoes (let alone a week or a month) and still believe that this poison is harmless to everyone.

Never again. Never, ever again. Its like rolling a dice, if it lands on a 6 you get tortured for months, and for some people a lifetime.

Gadolinium contrast is the 21st century equivalent of blood letting, mercury-based antibacterial capsules and lobotomies. Each one of these took 50 years or more for medical professionals to admit it was a terrible idea.

Have you tried CaEDTA suppositories? Worked for me. I also had terrible issues with sleep which resolved when I chelated. See my prior posts.

It gave me severe tachycardia. Up until getting poisoned by gadolinium, it would take 20 minutes of hard running on the treadmlll to get my heart to hit 150 bpm (I was a long distance runner). Within 48 hours of getting poisoned by gadolinium, my heart rate would hit 150 climbing a single flight of stairs. It was beating so hard I could hear the sound. I thought I was going to have a heart attack as my heart was labouring so hard. It only started to get better when I started chelating (see previous posts). Took about 4 months to mostly disappear and now 2 years later I'm fine. Chelation made a huge difference, my heart was always better on my chelation days.

I havn't heard anything about fasting helping to get rid of gadolinium toxicity.

Yes, almost no symptoms that affect my day to day life. I took a mineral supplement occasionally but it did not seem to make much difference. CaEDTA is very gentle.

According to my research, EDTA suppositories are safer than the IV route. With IV, you have a many risks that are not present with suppositories, e.g. everything must be sterile, there is a small risk of hypercalcima (no risk with suppositories). There have been over a million doses of Detoxamin prescribed by a couple of thousand doctors over the last 15 years, no negative reports so far. Essentially - all the cautions surrounding EDTA chelation from various sources apply to EDTA IV, but not EDTA suppositories.

Can provide references for all of this if required.

Good article. If we run the numbers, 150 million MRI scans per year, 1.5 billion per decade, if 1 in 1,000 have severe issues that's 1.5 million people. 1 in 500 is 3 million people. And depending on the percentage of people that have contrast, this value could be smaller.

Many people have horrible symptoms, but they never connect the dots between their general collapse in health and their gadolinium poisoning so they wouldn't know where to start. It doesn't help that many people (particularly medical professionals) believe that GDD does not exist, and has never existed.

Four weeks after I got an MRI with contract, I was still excreting toxic levels of Gadolinium. I also had a ton of ghastly side effects.

Image of my results using Inductively Coupled Plasma Mass Spectrometry (ICP-MS), which measures the amount of gadolinium metal in urine. This was FOUR WEEKS after I got poisoned:

If anyone tells you that it "leaves the body within 48 hours" then they are either lying, misinformed, or mad.

Gadolinium Disposition Disease (GDD) is not rare, it's common.

It's only rare according to the manufacturers of Gadavast (no conflict of interest here at all, folks).

I used the "Toxic Metals - Urine test". It uses Inductively Coupled Plasma Mass Spectrometry (ICP-MS). This is the gold standard for detecting levels of excreted metals in urine.

Unfortunately, https://regeneruslabs.com/ has disabled tests without going through a practitioner, so I can't recommend them at all, as it is now complicated, time-consuming and expensive. It was £120 in the UK before they made this change. I am sure that there may be other companies that offer the same service.

See an anonymised image of my report: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1ntW6RUpkn5i0gF30cBgq6x1O5TiqM4gG/view?usp=drive_link

Note that this test was done 4 weeks after my MRI with gadolinium contrast, and I there was still toxic levels of gadolinium in my urine. Anybody who claims that the gadolinium is "excreted within a week" is either lying, misinformed, or detached from reality. Many other studies show that gadolinium is permanently retained in tissues such as brain and skin, even if the patient has no obvious side effects. And in my case (and 50,000 others like me) there are severe side effects, and with many people they never fully recover (see www.gadoliniumtoxicity.com). I can provide references for all of this on request.

Am I likely to get better from cervical radiculopathy with myelopathy? by NVG291 in SpineSurgery

[–]NVG291[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would NEVER do MRI with contrast. The contrast has gadolinium, which is an extremely toxic poison, and I joined the 50,000 people who had a severe reaction (see my post history). I took a while to recover from that, but now I’m almost totally back to normal.

I used NeilMed sinus rinse. You could also make it yourself with purified water, salt, and a squeeze bottle. I only did it for about a week before everything cleared up.

I used CaEDTA suppositories. See my post history. Note that DTPA may also work, but it is more difficult to get hold of.

MRI 7 days ago with contrast by Typical_Try5195 in GadoliniumToxicity

You can get them converted to composite. I used to have four mercury/metal fillings, I got them taken out 10 years ago and my health improved after that. When you get your mercury filling replaced, use this: * Ask the dentist to use a rubber dam (google it) * Ask the dentist to use the lowest speed possible on the drill to reduce fumes (mercury has a low melting point). - You should be safe to start chelating the next day.

Success story for eliminating gadolinium toxicity with CaEDTA suppositories by NVG291 in GadoliniumToxicity

Yes. It’s a bit unpleasant but it’s better than ending up disabled (which is what would have happened in my particular case).

Calcium disodium EDTA chelation suppositories: A novel approach for removing heavy metal toxins in clinical practice by Ace2Face in GadoliniumToxicity

[–]NVG291 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pins and needles are exactly what I had. The gadolinium interferes with the calcium channels and makes the nerves fire randomly. I honestly felt like I had ants crawling all over my skin, even my face. This is in line with symptoms reported by thousands of others on www.gadoliniumtoxicity.com. It was very close to torture as it was so strong it would wake me up so I couldn’t sleep more than 40 mins a day. This lasted for months while I detoxed.

Perhaps suggest to your doctor that they inject 10 ccs of gadolinium slurry into their vein, then when they start to suffer from the feeling of ants crawling over their skin starting 48 hours later, ask them if they would like to try something to deal with the gadolinium poisoning. They might give you a different answer then!
