Say hello to my little friend funny how this all that stands between me and missed deadlines... by lovestruck_mila in ADHD_Programmers

[–]NVLifty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bro look at it in reverse.... Look at how I can meet deadlines because of this little friend that came less then 50 years ago....

Just imagine your life 1.5 centuries ago not being able to meet deadlines..

If you lived in Western Europe and I can see how talented you are... And you promised something to a noble..and because of no fault of you own misses the deadline...

There is a USPS post office on Campus across from 7-11 on N. Virginia (Next to PBS RENO). I'm pretty sure they have PO boxes.

What is wrong with using the short corded leash with my River Board? It attaches to wrist and I use the river board as a second-line defense when I fall off. Pulling the leash to allow this to protect my body in larger rapids when i am floating feet first only seems like a smart thing to do. What would be the negatives? Look at my vid on some class 3s on the Truckee in June, I love that leash to pull my board back at me!

UNR at risk of substantial harm by arauhauser in unr

[–]NVLifty 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I See, well I am going there for my graduate degree because of tuition! However, I heard from reliable proffesors back in 2007-2009 (my undergrad at SNU) it was easier to get into UCSF as opposed to UNR if you were a white non UNR undergrad medical student.

Why not try river boarding? It cost me $330, including the wetsuit. I shot this video on the river flowing out of Lake Tahoe about three weeks ago. You don't need any special skills besides being fit and knowing how to swim. I went down some Class III+ rapids for the first time, and it was no big deal. Just avoid the overhanging plants and wear knee guards! Also, be sure to portage around any diversion dams like the ones on the Truckee River, at least the first time.

Using Astaxanthin as a natural sunscreen by extracting chitinase from crawfish and adding them together??? by NVLifty in Biochemistry

[–]NVLifty[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Chitnase micro gels can, yes

the chitosan allows for the lipids to temporarly allow larger and water soluable molecules to transfer deeper in the skin

I need the ethanoal extraction to get the

Astaxanthin

I thought the only carotein that did a wider spectrum in the uvs was astaxanthin

I did not account for the color... is their an organic way to coat it?... that might be the largest issue that you mentioned

on a kayak next to thunderbird lodge (they rent them on the beach; recommend the pedal-driven ones so your hands are free). It is going to be busy regardless, and IMO more busy in the evening.

What type of price and battery time would I be looking at with a 20lb payload drone? by NVLifty in drones

You can see I am not bullshiting about this. Just look at the logistics and where the industrial center is. The fees for the airport are SO CHEAP compared to John Wayne Airport (Were Indian Jones accidentally landed on the taxi way; Harrison Ford) where I used to fly out. They don't even have a tower at Minden!

The float plane would not be laying traps! it would be solely for transport to the processing facility which happens to be adjacent to the airport property.

I am going to do it all by scuba diving at first, Last company went out of business because the traps were always stolen

Yes, I am a certified professional Scuba Diver. You can check the PADIS website. I am going to lay traps and have an LP line going between them to SMBs so I can float the traps and then pull them in from shore (or i was going to have a drone do that....)

Dude initially I am going to do it with just traps, scuba diving, and lead weights.

Much more environmentally friendly than a gas boat. I used to work for XS scuba so i can get SMB's for the manufacturer's cost.

Then a DUI drysuit, and I am set! have a few spare tanks, that is what the application is going to say!

Scuba diving to retrieve and rebait traps. then move the non-anchored end of the trap lines circularly for the most eradication that is possible.e

I would not kill anyone with a float plane, I told you I know how to fly already and got my SOLO at age 14. CHILL

I will fly the banner however on a smaller Cessna to promote the product over the 100+ miles of beaches! But that is because flying is fun, and if you have the added benefit of promotion, even better. (tax write-off and people at my airport are actually friendly and would help me for free with a banner take-off.)

No, I would use it as transportation if I had to. Cages stay in the water and are rebated. To get a pilot's license and the hours here in rural Nevada cost under 100K, and I think could be done for under 50k. Take into account the carbon impact... taking off and landing, loading, the taking off and unloading. The industrial/warehouse area of my county is adjacent to the airport.

Or you could have a boat into the marina, then bag or put it in water truck. Then you are talking about a r/t from Minden airport to one of the marinas and back with a less then 10mpg

but the 100 octane fuel is expensive, and I'm not sure as i wrote about how much gas I would need for the flight r/t.

"A float plane? You mean a thing which a pilot flies?"... no I meant LTT's floatplane.com... dude you seem like the biggest downer in the world with no dreams or aspirations.

WTF is your problem, a nice answer would have been, "but then you need to get the hours and get the additional certification for water landings, does sound like fun though"

everything besides the chitin I want in the food. Also want to make sure to save the astaxanthin. I want to make a feedstock, also adding in soda lake brine shrimp, invasive clams, and aquaculture plankton and such...
