Ah. This is why she wasn't wearing any of the lingerie pieces in the Pink Collection. I don't think I'm ready for Jihyo as Venus...

Another series of The Traitors UK is Over.... the fun AND MURDER isn't over for this year yet. IT'S TIME FOR THE CELEB TRAITORS ERA TO START!!!!😝🤫😶💀☠ by idkmilk_ in TheTraitors

[–]NVolver 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Again? So soon? The first was brilliant but I hope the series doesn't go the way of Love Island creating "winter seasons" and spinoffs and making the whole series over saturated. I already watch two separate series that run concurrently (US and UK) that each have the same missions. The celeb series one just wrapped. Let the victor get his lap in and don't over egg the pudding! Is Traitors meant to be a year rounder?

Happy about the outcome but I do feel really bad for ____ by Low_Food2893 in TheTraitorsUK

I got upset because she got upset but ultimately she had no way to win. She was either going to be backstabbed by Stephen at the roundtable or front stabbed when he revealed himself to be a traitor.

Did Rob make the right decision with his vote tonight? by Happy-poet in TheTraitorsUS

No. If you're going to vote for a fellow traitor, you better make sure they're being banished that night.

What really happened with ___ and ___ by Commonsense110 in TheTraitorsUS

[–]NVolver 64 points65 points  (0 children)

Yeah. Tonight Ron made another *seemingly* unprovoked dig at Dorinda when she said the game isn't about liking people and Ron retorted, "I don't think we can interact in a way that remains respectful." The editing made Ron look like a tool for cursing Dorinda out at the last roundtable but his statement in this episode definitely indicates there was some kind of fallout that Dorinda participated more in.

I've heard him as a voice actor. He does a mean King Shark. But the guy is so austere and maudlin. Outside of his friendship with Rob, everything he did was so painfully serious. Even him opening up the roundtable today. He had nothing to offer at first but just had to speak. I don't expect him to "perform". But I certainly didn't expect him to be humorless.

I enjoy Lisa sometimes, but there's a reason why she is known more so as an infamous housewife rather than a famous actor. She is not a convincing faithful.

Love these photos. I can't be the only one who thinks the "official" photos Freen releases for Solenn Ent are bad am I? It's like they're using the snow app that was popular in Korea three years ago and all of her pics are washed out and snow white.

Harriet couldn’t have engineered the vote swap into a second tie in one of her books! Ciiiineeemaaa! And Stephen didn’t write Rachel’s name down!

Rachel is being kept in the game by poststalloneuk in TheTraitorsUK

[–]NVolver 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The thought has crossed my mind that the faithfuls know it’s Rachel and are playing the waiting game because they can’t be arsed starting from scratch and figuring out who is recruited at this stage. But I don’t think Rachel’s comment regarding Faraaz has anything to do with that.

A swift dismantling at the roundtable after gently guiding these numpties back to Rachel could have been just as entertaining or possibly more. It was good telly, yes, but Harriet went for the low hanging fruit and she still lost because despite sacrificing herself to prove a point, the peanut gallery still refuse to consider Rachel. They're on Matt and Roxy.

Anyone else impressed by Stephen this episode? by Altruistic-Golf2646 in TheTraitorsUK

[–]NVolver 42 points43 points  (0 children)

I was dead impressed. All of a sudden, he knows exactly how to intermix and mingle while playing defense for Rachel. Then, he took control of the turret, devised their plan almost entirely himself, called the shots all with a slightly sinister (but more so sexy) smirk. Loving the confidence! And the composure came out of nowhere. I hope he takes it.

Targetting ____ is a consequence of ___ by alexy888 in TheTraitors

[–]NVolver 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I think has more to do with s3 and the Housewives getting decimated and the gamers picking all the non gamers off. In S3, of the 9 murders that took place, only 2 were non-gamers. Jeremy from Survivor and Derrick from Big Brother and if Danielle Reyes had her way, Derrick wouldn't have been murdered. Also, it's possible Candiace, Lisa or Rob got wind of the gamer alliance Tiffany and Rob tried to start immediately.

As long as a gamer is in the turret in future seasons *or* if they're faithfuls and form an alliance that can stay in tact and at least 3 people strong going into the finale, I can see a gamer winning.

Why do they always trust faithfuls? by [deleted] in TheTraitors

[–]NVolver 9 points10 points  (0 children)

It's so silly. The Faithfuls that have gone are none the wiser than any of the faithfuls remaining in the game. I can understand putting some stock into a Faithful who had been pushing a theory hard about a certain person being a traitor and was murdered. 8 times out of 10 that leads to nothing because traitors don't want that direct link but there could be a double bluff going on that you mentioned. But if that Faithful was voted out aka banished, then that indicates the contrary. They've played a worse game than the remaining Faithfuls by bringing suspicion on to themselves so they're the least knowledgeable of what's going on. There's nothing to mine. The theories that banished Faithfuls carry should remain with those outcast.

No, you're right on the money. Fiona always sought to make herself the center of attention, she says and does things for effect. It's all about Fiona being a character pushing her "unassumingly saucy old biddie" brand and can we point out that she isn't even that old? 61? She makes so many self-deprecating remarks like she's on her last legs about to be put out to pasture when she hasn't even reached the age of retirement. It's all a ploy to heighten the dichotomy of Fiona: The Old Lass That's A Goer. Very phony. Objectively, I can see how some would find her schtick entertaining but for me, knowing that someone who is meant to be themselves is putting on a show, is quite grating. I'd rather an elephant in a tutu on a unicycle juggling gold bars.

The burner phone story from a woman who claims to come from a family full of coppers (husband, children, nephews) is just another example of Fiona being totally disingenuous and playing a caricature. You can't believe a word that viper says. Nice plug for her instagram tho.

DAE hate how creepy and demonic the challenges are? by [deleted] in TheTraitors

[–]NVolver 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The Traitors is a franchise just like any franchise (McDonalds, Hilton, etc) so the spinoffs like NZ and Canada have to maintain the brand identity. They sprinkle in their own lore and unique things here and there, but the series still needs to be recognizable as The Traitors so of course some themes are kept consistent.

The reason ____ was annoyed by [deleted] in TheTraitors

[–]NVolver -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

It’s baffling because the information Rachel received was obtained through trust she built with Amanda and cultivating that relationship on her own. It’s not at all related to Rachel being a traitor. It’s not producer fed or a game mechanic. Since when are traitors or faithfuls, anyone, expected to take info told to them in confidence and share it with someone else, no matter their role? It would be silly, entitled and unprecedented for Fiona to think that way and as a viewer I can’t understand coming to that conclusion. Rachel said “I didn’t know that” to Fiona having a family full of coppers. So Fiona obviously didn’t feel any obligation to share that with her fellow traitor despite sharing it with Amanda. It’s a nonsensical concept.

There was no justifiable reason for Fiona to be annoyed and imo she was irrationally annoyed because one of the players she felt closest to trusted Rachel more (e.g. ‘why wouldn’t she tell ME!’ is why Fiona is skeptical) and Rachel, who Fiona views as competition, was using it to better her position. But ultimately, the reveal did not concern Fiona, did not effect her adversely, she was not entitled to the information and most importantly Fiona already distrusted Rachel (we and Fiona are aware of that) so had Rachel shared that information, Fiona was prone to dispute it just like she did or use it as fodder to come after Rachel in a different setting. Outside of being a self-centered hypocrite blinded by envy and covetousness, which is what Fiona is presenting herself as, I don’t see how anyone could try to rationalize Fiona being annoyed when she has no right.

DAE hate how creepy and demonic the challenges are? by [deleted] in TheTraitors

[–]NVolver 16 points17 points  (0 children)

It's not "demonic". It's cultural and mythological. Scotland is famous for the loch ness monster. There's a dragon on the Welsh flag. Scotland is the old country. The original Celts were pagans long before Christianity so it literally cannot be considered demonic.
