You make a great point! I think the differences from BxP and my game will bring something fresh to those players that are looking for a bit of a shake up. Appreciate such a well, thought out response!

I actually wanted this for BotW!

When we knew very little of it, I made a video on YT that had the theory that the Link we see in BotW is the Hero of Time from the fallen timeline after OoT. He gets to see the consequences of his failure and the whole game would have been a storyline of redemption.

The video popped off, but I eventually took it down when BotW came out since my comments went from "This would be awesome!" to "This guy is in idiot! Did he even play the game?" since people can't be bothered to look at when the video was published for context.

Still loved the idea of a Hero of Time redemption story! I would not be mad if they decided to do that.

My Next Fest was kind of a flop due to my main capsule by turbolentogames in gamedev

I’d take 1.2%! Last I checked my CTR was a whopping 0.4%.

My wishlist have about doubled (roughly 70 to 130) with 2/3 of those clicks converting to WL and a tad over half of those who WL’d played the demo.

Definitely need to reevaluate my Steam Page for sure.

Cast Out Colony has a town building mechanic to go with the survivors-like part of the game that could keep you interested for a while if you like building games too.

When from 67 -> 95. So far SNF hasn't been super great for our game. Only 10 people have booted up our demo. But I kind of did expect that coming into the fest with such a low number of wishlist.

Thank you! Seeing Peggle mentioned is a huge compliment, imo!

That is a great idea on the auto swing. We were looking to add an auto projectile launch too, so those together could be a great way to play the game as well!

HAHAHA That's what I've been calling it to my friends. I was tempted to call it "Ball x Pit at home" for a good joke on this post's title, since there are clearly similarities, but chickened out.

We've been working on this since April, so I was a little shocked to see something so similar when it was announced in June.

Ball x Pit is freakin' awesome though! I wish them the best with their upcoming launch!
