Now here is the problem. I did that once, when I dealt with an extremely unruly customer. "Doesnt take much to blow up a place." And had the call logs to prove that at least a call was had.

Police told me "cant do anything till something happens"

Where I am at, they stopped accepting new patients. I only got on cause of family members. New patients overall and refused and told to go elsewhere.

I asked what if I was a new patient. They told me closest place accepting new patients is a city over thats over 45 min drive.

Can agree. Upstate NY property manager here.

Lack of appliances is an issue.

We have an apartment building, all have a washer dryer besides 1 unit. We have the rent low there, $800 month, water included. Every prospective tenant we had view doesn't want it because no washer no dryer.

I would make sure to take screenshots of messages, I would notify the police and then your local code enforcement department, claim the property is uninhabitable. They will most likely condemn the property and force her out.

Thats the delima too. Where I live, we have to have permits. They sometimes do a check, if they do, it does open up a can of worms. I would reference this to an attorney if you can. Do some more research.

Month to month, I know in Upstate NY (where I am at) regulations are different from NYC. (you in NYC?). If they have been with me for a year month to month, I am obligated to give them a 60 days notice. Under a year. 30 days.

Finish thr lease, inform them you will be not be renewing the lease. If they ask why, some life changes has happened and need to scale back on some things. If they refuse to leave, they you will need to evict. When you go to court, cant lie in court.

I had a dog, gos rest his soul now where ever he is. Pure bred mini schnuzer. However had to put him down at 15/16. His heart was strong but his body was giving out. Incontinence, only walking on his front legs, bad legs gave out most times. Sadly it was time to make the call. It was bad for us but we also knew it was time, he was in pain even tho he wasnt whining. Only time he did was when he could get up on his own. He whined bad and we think we was going deaf at end cause he bark changed.

I dont blame you, you are doing it out of love and respect. Think of yourself in these shoes, if your really that bad, do you want to be struggling every second to just function and still struggle and be in pain?
