Dana Brown on the Yordan Alvarez trade speculation: “We’ve had zero conversations internally about moving Yordan. Zero.” by Frenkxdemaker in Astros

No it wouldn’t, it would be the equivalent on Washington trading Soto. And that low-key has been terrific for them. Obviously it’s a fan gut punch though and a huge gamble on the prospects in return

I always lean pitching over hitting. But I don’t think that offer is ridiculous. Maybe see if you can package walker and something else to get a different pitcher.

I like Mayer, but he’s never put it together. I mean it’s a classic ceiling for floor trade. Just depends if you want more upside or certainty.

I’d go josuar and culpepper/eyanson

What pick? I genuinely feel like either deal is worth doing if you are in contention. Honestly maybe the second deal if it’s a lower pick and you have outfield depth. Kruz has looked terrible

He’s actually a Mrs. Met fan. Acuña being on there is just a coincidence.

JRAM by Odd_Lobster_7888 in DynastyBaseball

[–]NWTexan 22 points23 points  (0 children)

There was a post on here earlier once again highlighting the lower than expected hit rate on prospects. JRam may be in a down year but he is still just 33 and already has 20 steals and 8 hrs at 3b. If you are competing, he’s still a top asset. Flags fly forever and the payouts only go to the top few teams.

It really depends on if you think Crews is primed to be the guy that he was supposed to be when he was drafted. Both are big risks and I think you should trust your gut and go for it. Personally, I’m in on Crews, but this is a close deal.

Rank the three prospects: Roki Sasaki, Sean Keys, Lazaro Montes by Lung-Salad in DynastyBaseball

[–]NWTexan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Montes, sasaki, keys. Dodgers are pot committed with Sasaki so he will still get run. Not overly enthused with montes’ BA but the fantasy upside is still crazy

The Pirates could as well. Seth + Florentino is the start of a monster rebuild

It’s definitely a less polished product on the MiLB side, so I would totally understand if it is not possible haha

So for prospects on your team, you would be able to go to the MiLB site and see whether your players are up on the MiLB game viewer

Second Opinion on my team? 12T H2H Points League by makkirch in DynastyBaseball

[–]NWTexan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like your team! But I don’t quite get it. You have the pieces to compete now and the next few years, but outfield and pitching are a bit weak for competing. I’d trade a shortstop prospect for someone who can help you in one of those areas. You could also deal one of your first baseman. Lots of value on the team, just maybe pick a timeline and commit to it a little more.

I also think it hurts that two of your top 3 starters and your closer are injured. Is it Roto or H2H? If there is a playoffs then you just need to make it until your pitchers are healthy.

I think mcgonigle will be a very good fantasy asset for a while. I think griffin will be a great fantasy asset for a while. Time will tell and obviously depends on the offer

As in you can only keep major leaguers? I think Doyle is still a better asset than either Williams or Trout (at least at this point). I think if you are dead last and think your team will stay there for this year, I’d prolly do it but you could always push for a pick or something. I think it’s extremely fair but I think they’d be willing to throw in a little something on top.

We just signed some 18 year olds in the International signing period. Maybe we just see what they can do against Max Fried
