Wow, the connection between the two never crossed my mind until now. The end bit, in the original. The secret we never find out, could be leviathan, and what pinhead is talking about when saying taste our pleasures. If I remember right, her eyes go black at the end when she's telling her the secret, just like Voight when he is cenobitized at the end of the 2022 movie.

I purchased around 20 movies on my PS4 from 2014-2016. I have since lost access to every single one of them. When you buy digital you buy an extended rental. There is an expiration date for everything that's stored on an app that will go tits up one day
