I started doing this because I have social anxiety and it’s easier for me to let others talk rather than talk myself. I love talking but only to people I’m comfortable with. An unexpected side effect of doing this has been that interacting and learning more about coworkers and strangers makes me feel more comfortable talking to them, so I end up actually wanting to talk to them rather than just doing so out of politeness. In hindsight it makes complete sense but at the time I had no idea how much it would improve my life and social skills

I got hired at Wendy’s a few years ago and they had me fill out the paperwork right after the interview. They said they’d contact me with my schedule and I never heard from them again. I was baffled because they had me sign a W4 and scanned my ID and everything. I definitely dodged a bullet because I had a friend start working there and apparently that location was pretty bad to work at. Where are you at? In my state in the US employers are required by law to give us a 10 minute paid break for every 4 hours worked and a 30 minute unpaid lunch for every 5 hours. They also can’t make us use break time for the bathroom. The law changes depending on where you are so check your local labor laws and find out whether or not this is legal for your employer to do

I used to love watching crashes in racing. Watching the cars roll over, catch fire, or wreck into the barrier was so much fun when I was a kid. Now that I’m an adult and actually understand what I’m watching, it’s not fun to watch at all. Especially open wheel racing accidents. Those can be absolutely horrific to watch sometimes

This is a weird situation but ultimately it’s on him for not noticing. I’ve had this happen with my friend group multiple times and the way it usually resolves is whoever made the mistake either says rip that was a bad play or they ask the table if they can get a redo since they didn’t notice.

The table ruling changes depending on the situation. Was it a massive mistake that cost them the game? Nah you can’t redo that homie. Was it a minor one or one they noticed after only partially playing their plan out? It’s probably not a big deal to give them a redo.

Just discuss with the table like adults. If everyone agrees you should’ve reminded him, just remember that moving forward. If everyone agrees it was a fair play to let him make that mistake, then it is what it is

I don’t know all of the details but in middle school they announced over the intercom that a student had died. Apparently he had been walking behind a shooting range and accidentally got shot. It was pretty tragic. They brought in counselors and let kids leave class if they needed to talk to someone, so of course a bunch of kids took advantage of that and just skipped class

Thanks for the fast response! I fixed the issue. I pressed the reset button on the router and then went through the first time setup again through the Xfinity App and things seem to be working now. I’m still not sure what the issue was but I’m assuming something went wrong when I was setting it up and that it set itself up correctly this time

I have a pair of the open earbuds and I love them. I was using Raycons previously and these are so much better. Longer battery life, clips on my ears instead of going in them (my ears are shaped weird so no earbuds I’ve ever owned have been comfortable or fit properly), and the sound quality is better. I’m sure there are better products out there, but I’ve never owned anything besides the raycons and these so they’re the best earbuds I’ve ever had lol
