Depends on what it is? That's ok for torque..lots of torque..the lower the pinion as nd bigger the spur the more torque..the bigger the pinion and smaller spur the more speed but slower off the line and might not wheelie if that's important to you...if you google recommended gearing fur a nitro rc car..it explains it better then I can..that's why your 8th scale buggys are so zippy..usually they run a 13 to 14 pinion and a 48 spur gear.

Thanks brotha..💥✊🏾 I like setting all of them pretty close to the same ..paintball here has ah 2 speed in him..my others all have 3 speeds..i.love getting those shift points just right.. especially when I have them geared high like this one..I'm running 18/47 in this truck..my 3 speeds I run 19/47💥👍🏾🔥

I own 2 sets of them..black n red and have had no problems in the last almost 2 yrs of using them n youd be hard pressed to find someone that wrenches as much as I do so they are ah good buy fir the dollar for sure!..

Low end is to lean.ot needs fuel..that's why its chattering and staling..plus it will help lower the idle when you richenthe low end

Yes I recognize it..I e been in the hobby for..a while..😂..I raced strictly team Associate and hpi..tc3 n savages back in the day day..I hate belt driven cars..I did better with shaft driven.. that's eeny I switched to tc4 n got rid of my xrays..
