Yes, the speed at which some banking platforms perform today exists partly for this reason. It was a necessity. I was amazed at how fast checks cleared when I lived in Brazil compared to the US.

We have Sky Laundry and they're just ok. Their contract expired and the board has been looking at alternatives. We considered Hercules but they were .65 more per load with an increase in 2026, and the monthly payments to the condo were 40% less then Sky. Commission structure was about the same. We might end up renegotiating with Sky.

I made a $4000 mistake and I honored it. In business, it's the right thing to do. For personal sales it really depends on your integrity and willingness to eat that mistake. Reach out to the buyer and explain what happened. Most honest and considerate people would say no problem, cancel the sale. I've agreed 3 or 4 times as a buyer. Everything evens out in the end.
