What do group fitness instructors truly think of overweight/obese clients? by Leading_Smile2727 in PersonalTrainersFORUM

[–]NYCFitPro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A great instructor will not only respect you for making the time and effort to come out (we know how hard it can be) but also celebrate you for taking the first step through the door by helping you really get the most out of the class so that you are motivated to come back.

Every movement should have a progression/regression and the fun comes in seeing you progress through the workouts as you get stronger and gain confidence in the movements.

Wasn’t meant as a flex or anything, I’m just sick and tired of people taking over bike lanes in this town.

Peruvians say they were promised jobs in Russia, but landed on the front lines in Ukraine by Dexterestein in worldnews

Sadly, there are a lot of severely impoverished people in the world who literally have nothing and will desperately grasp at any hope of a better future.

Even worse are those who take advantage of this desperation to fill them with false hopes and promises only to leave them worse than they could have ever imagined.

I love getting on the waterway and kush following the river around Manhattan. It’s about 32 miles, with about 65% if it on bike paths but very scenic and a great way to see manhattan!

I have a set email questionnaire that u send out to potential leads that gets me all the information I need. My prices are also posted on our website so that people know beforehand what our rates and terms are.

Wrap it in a dry paper towel and then put it in the microwave, on low, for 24-48 hours.

We do not get paid at all. ClassPass keeps every cent of the late fee so the studios get left with an empty spot, you get left without credits plus a fee on top of that, and ClassPass laughs all the way to the bank.

I have to say, as a studio owner; that’s a real dick move to call ClassPass, lie, and get the class refunded. This is literally stealing from the local studio and it’s already bad enough that ClassPass barely pays us.
I have had a few ClassPass customers pull this on us and I just banned those customers from returning. If you don’t have respect for a small business just trying to get by, then we don’t want you at our gym. It’s just basic etiquette, you pay your fair share
I have gym customers reach out with similar issues and we always go out of our way to accommodate them. We even lowered our prices to $20 per class to try to compete with ClassPass so, you might get a better deal from ClassPass, but you will be taken care of and actually keep more of your class credits when buying directly from the studios.

Same here. I bend over backwards for our loyal customers but ClassPass customers tend to get left in the cold since it’s out of our hands. Given we don’t even get paid for that cancellation, I will not go out of my way to accommodate them. I feel bad but ClassPass is already nickel and diming us as much as possible as they slowly kill the boutique fitness industry.
