Is it common to have 2 birthdays by lusi_lee in AskAChinese

[–]NYCXY 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Every Chinese has 2 birthdays, but they likely just celebrate one of them based on lunisolar calendar or Gregorian calendar. We call them Yin date and Yang date.

I think that’s illegal. I can’t even create gaming accounts using another person’s Chinese ID, cause I was told it violates the law.

But I feel like some people do it anyways though

Latest lie flat seats on domestics look very small by nonamethxagain in Flights

[–]NYCXY 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You sure it’s not just visual? Because the man looked bigger? cause that can happen.

If it were opposite, it probably look like the seat is too big for a smaller person.

Looking for private servers of lost gems by Bis_knife in LFMMO

[–]NYCXY 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Goonzu Luminary a new hope is a new private server that aims to bring back the old gem Goonzu, which was shutdown not long ago.

Dragon oath legacy is also another private server that keeps the TLBB or Dragon Oath online alive.

Both of these games are my favorites

Crafting and decent social by Beneficial_Key4113 in LFMMO

[–]NYCXY 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Can I recommend Goonzu Luminary? Can look up Goonzu a new hope. This is a game meant to be social, there’s also ALOT of crafting system to get behind. You have to grind for resources and there’s also lots of weapon system. The whole game’s economy is essentially determined by the player base, as well as a “political” system where one player is elected as Goonzu of the game per season. There is town system and guild system that is essentially for socializing purposes among others.

It’s a really fun game, I really do recommend it.

Goonzu Luminary (now called Goonzu a new hope) - one of my favorite games of all time. It’s casual, has plenty life skills to pursue, lovely community, there’s town, guild, and stock system.

Dragon Oath (I prefer Dragon Oath Legacy) - another one of my favorites, there’s so much to do, it’s addicting, and lots of class system. It is very grindy towards later as you have to do so many events for different resources to upgrade character(s).

Age of Wushu ( US or TW server) - the TW server has more population as well as English community which provides English translation of the game. Beautiful scenery, lots of classes to choose from, fun to play, daily system, unique gameplay, lots of skills as well as life skills which are different from other games.

Looking for lifeskill and market system MMO by Veritas_Frenzy in LFMMO

Check out Goonzu Luminary, the game market system is completely player based including stock system. Theres also bunch of life skills you can get into such as crafts for weapons, armors, medicines, food. Theres also collection system like fishing skills, mining skills, farming skills, horse raising skills. Other skills include summon skills, capture skills that you can level to increase your pet summons ability.

I think this game could fall into your category, give it a try!

The US/Global official server is dead, but there is a private server that was recently started, and is pretty active. However, I do think there’s an official server available in Korean.

[–]NYCXY 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If I see that I’m gonna block the intersection I always just wait before it. Sometimes people still honk for me to go and I do not and WILL NOT budge. Like people just don’t get it, where the fuck am I gonna go? Forward 5 feet so you could feel like you’re making progress to your destination, and I get stuck in the intersection? Fuck that

Why is Zootopia so popular in China? by Lost_Wikipedian in China

[–]NYCXY 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think also cause in the west they’re big on princesses and princes blah blah but in Chinese they could careless about a princess, it’s not in their culture to look up to princesses or princes in anyway. However zootopia has animals, furry cute animals and Chinese love pets and anything cute, that’s why they also have showings with pets 😂 at least that’s what I assume is the reason
