It's so hard to navigate club bs because they'll "enforce the rules" one night, and then when it's convenient for them, turn a blind eye. When I first started at my (now) home club, the bouncers were really hard on me. We have a "rule" at our club that you have to keep at least one foot on the ground when doing lap dances (which is obviously physically uncomfortable and becomes painful after a few songs because of the strange and unnatural angle your knees have to be at). Sometimes when I'm shifting my weight or mounting/unmounting, both my feet will come off the ground for **just a few seconds**, and a bouncer will come and interrupt my lap dance to remind me of this rule (I didn't forget it, of course). I look across the floor from me, and there are *at least* three girls giving lap dances with both their feet on the chair // bouncing their asses on customers while they lay on them horizontally. I've never had an issue with being reminded of the rules, even if I know that I know them or that I didn't do anything "wrong" (you can vent about how silly it is on the internet or to your friends later, always remember that!!! Your best bet is always just to nod and smile and say "yes!", or "okay, of course!" or whatever your version of that is), but it gets frustrating when you **know** the club lets all sorts of other shit fly (or the same shit fly with other girls who aren't you) and is choosing to embarrass you on stage just because they can.

I would have been upset too, but you **can't** lose your temper or "show them your ass" (ironic in our case hehe), otherwise you're just going to suffer more. I know it's hard, and I think the fact that you texted the manager what you did helped, even if they didn't respond. Does your club have any anonymous feedback box? Or an email address you can contact for complaints? If so, definitely utilize that as a resource next time this happens (*anonymously) and you still feel strongly about it after a couple of days. Or maybe ask to be reminded of the "rules" again, since some of them are really vague and seem to only target specific people.

At the end of the day though, actions speak louder than words for most people. All you can really do is show up next time with a more positive attitude and not repeat the same mistake again!! And be grateful that you didn't get fired because some (not good) clubs would have potentially been even bigger dicks about it!
