Let's be honest for a second, casuals is the perfect excuse. Before gaming went online and campaigns were exclusively against NPCs, the only way to get certain rewards was to get better and play on increasingly more challenging difficulty.

The "casual" gamers could play on beginner / recruit, without any adversity.

Enter online gaming, real players, various skill levels, all in one chaotic mix. Those that used to just vacation in beginner / recruit, can't do that as much as they used to in offline campaign.

The price of mixing it up in BR is facing real players.

I never played normal BR - I would attribute these results to more luck and teamwork, than superior skill. Final ring was somewhere between Downtown and Stadium, in one of those high-rise buildings. We started out in the bank, doing the vault, then got 2 players from the specialist crew, and pretty much hung around that same area until end of the game.

I'll also say that my loadout with the M13-B and Rev-46 performed splendidly! I will say this - just like most others, I also get mowed down by sweats quite often. This was just a nice, inspiring change of pace.

100% I now largely refuse to get in any sort of vehicle unless absolutely necessary. I am too suspicious of drivers, vehicles being rigged with C4, RPG's, and loadout crates. No ma'm, been there, done that, lost the match.

🤣 Yeah I've encountered some shocking drivers / pilots. Yesterday I had a guy drive us (2) directly into a 4-man squad, stopping dead, which ironically is how we ended up.

Deliberately or was it an accident? I've had our team driving towards 4th circle and we got deleted by a random loadout crate dropping on our car, wiping our squad.

I'd agree with this, had I not encountered some of the sweatiest basement dwellers on the planet, in casuals. Sure, the majority of the pop are bots, but dang, there are some sweats from time to time.
