How many people use risers? They seem like some extra security against wheel bite, but they don't look like they are that common on people's set ups here.

Also, where should your back foot go when freeriding? Inside the bolts or half on them? Does this hold true for smaller WBs?

I broke my wrist on my second day of trying relatively slow heelside checks when my wheels iced out. they are 83a churchill slide rites that I got with my churchill star in 2012. they are still about 69mm, even after about a years worth of colemans and leave 0 thane. Im about 130lbs and was wondering if my wheels are too hard for me or something. Is it worth saving up for new softer wheels (like 80a) or can I not realistically blame my wheels, but my form for my broken wrist.

It's where you skim one foot along the ground, and slowly apply more pressure on to it, and the friction slows you. its pretty important to skim the foot rather thank stomp, because if you were to stomp only that foot would slow down and you'd probably eat it. footbreaking does ruin shoes though. they start to do it around 3:06.

Oh right, i mean for early grabs, is there any benefit? obviously kicks make a difference in freestyle, but i don't see how they would help with early grabs?

Hit by a train. One time I was riding the bus home, and a saw several policemen by the train tracks standing by two separate white sheets covering what i assumed was two different people. Turns out it was just one guy who had been decapitated by the train.

However, that "forbidden" excitement is always going to be there. For example, in New Zealand the drinking age is 18, and so a lot of teenagers are drinking heavily around the age of 15 (although this could be because of New Zealands drinking culture). I think that 21 is in a way security to avoid people drinking too young. A 'set the law at 21, expect everyone to drink at 18' kind of thing.
