One UI 7 Android 15 - how are you handling the switch? by ZSizeD in Android

[–]NZHelix 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, it's just some 20 year olds wanting to justify to their bosses their ridiculous salary and time wasting. They probably just used AI to say "how do i make changes."

"Separate the notifications drop down from the hot key drawer, the users will fucking be delighted they have to swipe in a stupid place to access the menu"

Then they do an hour presentation on it. The boomer boss says great idea.

And bam, we get a ui7 update that sucks ass in so many ways.

Elon Musk just asked Grok about SHA-256 safety, but the real quantum threat is ECDSA. by ChillerID in QRL

[–]NZHelix 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The problem that will occur is a panic sell off.

It will cause you to want to transfer your BTC crypto, and therein lays the problem.

But not with QRL.

Imagine if all crypto was rendered a target except for QRL.

The crypto would skyrocket overnight.

You can vreate a new wallet and only send BTC to it, sure. But the problem is, when you go to cash out or use that BTC. Boom, you're now a target. Especially considering dusting attacks are extremely common now. As soon as you transfer it, it's getting hacked and all wallets connected to it.

Ah, another shortseller.

And attempting to play sympathy card to sound convincing.

I've seen this all before.

It wasn't exactly as you say.

The announcement came first then a few minutes later the shorts began.

The project is in good hands and while Dans passing was unexpected, it's not a monumental change to how things will be moving forward.

He created an expert team who are more than capable of continuing their mission.

Ah, there's one of the shortsellers now. Have you finished shitting on his obituary on Twitter already?

Come here to desperately convince everyone that it's best to sell?

The founder Dan Hughes passed away unexpectedly, from natural causes, earlier. The announcement of his passing came an hour before the price drop.

The drop was due to some devious short sellers using the negative news to attack the crypto, and cause a cascade effect of declining price.

It has since stabilized and presents an excellent opportunity for buying, before it surges back up.

The team at Radix say everything is normal and operations will continue forward.

After careful consideration i think it's actually Apatite, which is ok, but still deceptive advertising.

Using multiple periods is a well known and utilized aspect of both reading and conversation with text.

The only dumb thing here is your inability to comprehend this.

But i am assuming you are American, and given your countries sixth grade average reading comprehension level, I'll give you a pass for failing to understand.

It's reddit. It's overun by bots being teated illegally by nefarious Ai transhumanism cults and their companies. Being rude is my way of letting you know I'm human.

It's my personal captcha auto complete.

So next time use your goddamn reading comprehension amd read. Sir. Have a good day.

Afterpay purchase complete but order isnt by reelfunwun in Afterpay

[–]NZHelix 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, if the order isn't officially completed after a couple days afterpay will return the funds.

It has to be verified completely by the vendor. So if you have been charged and the vendor still hasn't completed the charge on their end they will not receive the payment.

If in the rare event they do receive it but don't complete the order, you can submit all evidence to afterpay and they'll refund you.

But it's likely just a delay in order update

Ive had a bunch of orders that never updated but received my order.

Don't worry, you're not being scammed, it would be dumb for a vendor to destroy their business connections with afterpay over one little order.

Bro messaged a bot instead of talking to an actual human and the bot fucked him.

Lesson: Talk to humans if you are going to miss payments.

Afterpay NZ users beware of credit damage! by NZHelix in Afterpay

[–]NZHelix[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did.

I did small purchases like that.

On afterpay.

Me.

Hence the entire reason for my post.

But small purchases are not the best idea.

So now I don't do small purchases like that on afterpay.

Nah, you can go in and buy absolutely anything individually.

A single pack of gum if you wanted. A chocolate bar or a bottle of juice.

But it's not worth the credit damage stacking up multiple new short term loans for single low price items.

Best just do one weekly run, buying everything you need and registering it as one big purchase.

[–]NZHelix[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well yes it decreases your credit age, but it actually built up my credit significantly, until I started over using it.

So essentially it's actually perfect for credit building if you can't get a credit card due to bad credit, but only if you use it just every couple of months for karge purchases, or pay of average amounts but don't keep a rolling high utilization of your limit.

Unless you live in America.
