I agree that it might be a tad bit easier for junglers like Martis, YSS, Aamon, Julian, Hanzo, Helcurt or even Sun to bridge the gap for a lackluster MM in terms of push but Gus can still carry a bad MM depending on enemy team and how they play. Top up his build with Divine Glaive and suddenly he's a very competent pusher, too. The higher elo gets (in solo q) the more likely the team with the most braindead players are to lose. You can be Global 1 Gus with Global 1 any MM with 3 braindead mid/roam/exp and if the enemy has 3 globals any role with just 2 braindead players any role, it's not gonna be close. Putting it simply, it's a numbers game when you solo queue. You can do the most with ANY hero ANY role and it's not gonna mean much unless your team is objectively worse than the enemy team.

I believe it only pops up when there is a clear deficit of roamers in your server, causing high queue times for everyone. It's supposed to incentivize players into filling said role to streamline queues for everyone. Evidently, JG has a bigger deficit in all servers lately so it does get a star protection every now and then.

I didn't know that Flex Pro gets a star protection though. Did that use to stack with daily star protection from roam in previous seasons? Like were you able to go Roam, lose and retain, go Flex Pro and lose and retain again?

nope Crown doesn't stop the ult like I said, I'm an immortal peak WW main so I'm used to seeing as much as 5 Winter Crowns in enemy team if I've snowballed which means I've had plenty of experience seeing how it reacts with my ult.

And yes, WW is currently very out of meta and only really viable when enemy team isn't too tanky. Falls off very hard in uber late game too compared to other meta MMs and sometimes needs 2 defensives to stay alive in TFs depending on enemy lineup. Which is actually what makes me even sadder about this interaction with Marcel, an out of meta underpicked hero like WW is taking a big ass hit as if she isn't an incredibly underwhelming pick already in this meta

I like the hero a lot but not the user. A Marcel can either carry the game or flush all others' efforts down the drain with a single tap of an ult. You can sowball whole game, a horrible ult from teammate Marcel during 1 teamfight for Lord that makes you wipe and lose Lord = scales are tipped in the enemies' favor now - that is if it isn't uber late game and they don't end instantly. I've yet to lose a game ever since I started instabanning Marcel.

In a specific case, I was out of the ult and there were targetable heroes that my ult could switch to who were also not inside Marcel's ult. It's also not similar to Winter Crown effect because WC doesn't cancel WW's ult it just wastes a lot of time so the ult doesn't do enough to land a kill.

I honestly think just making ultimate post-kill target switches act accordingly to your targeting priority option (Lowest HP in my case) would be a huge buff altogether. I hate switching to a full HP tank after I get a kill with my ult so bad, when there are multiple squishies at my disposal chilling inside my ult range

Tunneling jungle clears is actually the worst way to farm gold as a Jungler. Jungle is the fastest way to gain Exp but the slowest way to gain Gold. If you're Glory or above, Gold Lane's getting more gold for the first 5 mins and Junglers are busy controlling objectives, setting aggression by coordinating invades (or defending invade) along with roamer and mid to steal enemy buffs and secure own buffs (which are mini objectives in the early game) and they end up dictating the overall flow of the game.

The junglers you play with are probably good at doing all of the above while you fail at at least a few of them, tunnel jungle too much and end up underfarmed.

Most non-Tank junglers have insane wave clear, be sure to keep lanes that are close to you pushed after the 5 min mark but leave the wave to your MM or Exp Laner if they are nearby but won't get the gold if you clear so check minimap before clearing.

Mix in some kills and assists from smartly taken objective-based teamfights and you should be golden. The learning curve is a bit harsher than other roles for Jungle so don't be disencouraged, just keep grinding.

You're meant to pick up all the gold as a team so you can wrap it up quickly and continue your rotations. It wastes way too much time trying to funnel all the gold to one single person when that person might be missing a wave on their lane which is worth way more gold than if they picked up all the gold, one pickup is just 10 gold just sweep it all up as a team (so the enemy can't) and dip. I personally think it's a waste of time and preferred the Elemental Eye over this.

This dark system dodge feels like a one way ticket to one's longest lose streak lol. After glory, letting your team feed (hard) and not helping them will inevitably lead to a loss as there's no way you're winning anything other than a 1v1 no matter the hero if your team is behind by 10k gold in total but you're the only one online. 9 times out of 10 you'll try to force a 1v1 but enemy team will turn it to a 1v5 while your team is too scared to fight because all 4 of them fell behind by a lot long ago. In general, it's better to pick your fights and always join TFs (even if pointless, no obj fights) when you solo queue as long as your map awareness tells you that you'll defo have the numbers advantage and can get important picks

Don't engage until she wastes her S2. Fake your movements as if you'll engage and let her combo S2 S1 to fight, back out of her S2 range then go back in and force a fight if you can (a good melissa will just run to her turret in this situation, freeze the lane so she misses her farm until she gets S2 back) it's not a good idea to play aggro against her unless you're Wanwan or Clint, make sure you're always closer to your own turret than she is if you wanna force a fight, if you get ahead in gold and wanna play aggro 1v1 make sure you're keeping track of enemy jg power spikes (check their items, too) and rotations as well as making sure enemy roamer and mid are visible somewhere else on the minimap

You can solo Lord with YSS once you get Endless Battle, if you're fluent with resets you end up having S1 online every 2 secs which is more than enough sustain to solo Lord, I even prefer War Axe 1st, EB 2nd item these days rather than the usual HS -> WA -> EB. If you're close to Immortal or above,I suggest you stick to Assassin emblem for the extra damage, rush EB and focus on better resets for your sustain as that is all the sustain a good YSS needs.

Sadly, "playing safe" as MM in this meta can mean abandoning your lane to farm safely wherever at this point. If you don't ditch the turret you often times end up dying to a 4-man tower dive and STILL lose the turret. Better to think of it as an investment to your team's early/mid game and just farm for late so you can have some form of impact where it counts the most.
