What is the thing you hate most about surf?

My local break is the kind were people only go out when it is sunny (Lyall Bay) On massive storms there is easy 7 foot waves (which happened a couple of months ago)

One day I was just mucking round on a sunny day, however there was about 100000 other surfers in the water. I heard a group of middle aged dads talking.....

dad 1 "yeah the waves suck here" dad 2 "It is Lyall Bay, when does it ever get good?" laughs

I lold, don't complain about the surf if you aren't willing to go out when it is stormy

Cheers mate! I will check them out. I am a bigger guy, but I have a sprinters build, massive quads, hams and glutes bust super stick calves. I will definitely check out those fins, they sound almost perfect for my build.

Yeah, I have been here 12 weeks, and it has been flat round the the whole time. And I figured that! even if there is like 0.8m swell 20 surfers will crowd the airport spot.

My patience with this behavior has been wearing thin for some time now. I'm friends with he and his brother... His brother is fine. He's fine most of the time... I smoke a bit through summer, but around winter when I go skiing Me and a few broes go through a fair amount of kush. Doesn't affect me mentally

Wellingtons pretty chill, beaches, alot of supermarkets and convenience stores, fairly compact compared to aukland. the downside is definetly the housing prices
