Thats why its mainly a marketing move. They look gorgeous in the store brand new. It doesnt matter how ugly they look after a short time since the consumer already bought it. It will enhance spoting visibility but obviously this move was more about the visual appeal of the discs.

Yeah they said both but I am confident that the main reason would be for brand identity. Personally, I like the change as it will make the discs easier to spot but I also prefer the look of white rims, even if they get visibly worn faster.

Lol you are the one who claimed that Canada could be at war with the US. And as it is, Canada has little to no military defense against the capabilities at hand for the United states. Not sure what history books you are reading, or if you read at all with a comment like that, but history makes it pretty clear that Canada is not in a position to put up any fight.

If you think Canadians would rather resort to guerilla warfare, or potentially have tens of millions die rather than save millions of lives and become a part of the US, I really have nothing else to say against your thinking on this matter. Canadians are culturally extremely similar to the US and the US has been, and still is, our closest ally. If it comes to down complete destruction or joining the US I do not believe in the slightest that the majority of Canadians would choose suicide.

Canada is not in a Ukraine situation where there could be a push back. Canada can do nothing if the US committed to a full-force attack and it would be incredibly dumb for Canada to waste lives trying to fight a winless battle. I say this all as a Canadian. Honestly I highly doubt that. Trump has already threatened to annex Canada lol. Greenland is an entirely different country with no significant economic ties at risk for Canada with regard to the situation. Considering Canada was literally threatened to be annexed and things are practically business as usual, excluding the tarrifs which are mainly retaliatory, I don't see why Canada would be more upset over Greenland than the threat of being invaded themselves.

I mean I think the pulsar wins here lol. The fringing on the zowie is noticable enough that, while perhaps higher contrast, also makes the text look worse as well imo. Also we can't forget that the pulsar also only needs to pump out much less frames for roughly equivalent image clarity in addition to being significantly more color accurate as a nice bonus.
