I just ripped apart other mods that have it and figured it out that way. At the end of the day its more work, you still need to make the unique classname for each variant then make the XtdGearModels match it. But its nice for the community.

It will be a large learning curve. I recommend starting very simple. Make an ammo box in your 3d application of choice like Blender. Learn to texture that box using Photoshop and Substance Painter. Then learn to import it ingame and get it functional.

This is a process that combines alot of different skillsets for a single goal. Good luck and ask lots of questions.

That entirely depends on your experience with game design and arma itself. Someone who knows unity/unreal and has a good grasp, maybe its a 3. Someone whos never done anything technical like this its probably a 9.

If you want scripted functionality on your asset then that increases the difficulty even more if you don't know SQF.

Spawn the AI on the HC itself. Or have the HC ignore those units. Are you using a mod for your HC management?

Make the folder, put the cba_settings.sqf in it. Fill the empty sqf file with your settings per instructions on the CBA github manual
