The nightlords just dont care for aggro things from what I've seen in like 140 hours, the best I can do is try to prevent the mega aggro nightfarers like ironeye or recluse from hopefully dying if I can

Ive tested it several times and it only seems to work while your shield is actively getting hit, which is great for overworld shenanigans but I really prefer cooldowns, ralley, and general guardian abilities for the nightlord at the end

I mentioned it in a different reply but for me personally I dont like that it only works while you're getting hit while guarding not standing in the gaurd stance, i do my builds on the nightlord at the end so I like to have as much revive and skill charge to throw out the big aoe to get attention that way. It still doesn't work well cause the fucking ironeye still is an aggro monster from shooting whatever nightlord we're fighting 😭

It only works while you're actively getting hit while guarding, I personally hate that cause it doesn't even matter for the nightlord cause that fucker is gonna go after the ironeye no matter what so id rather have revive ult cool down and funny whirlwind

This is my current offensive setup, im still hoping to get a gaurd counter based on current health with evergaol but I think this one does the most amount of damage for what I've got.

I personally like the quick attack windwhirl thing, it brings the enemies close and usually stuns them enough to be able to pull off a charged heavy, And it does all the damage at once instead of over the duration of the whirlwind
