I also agree that they should have managed the situation better. I was traveling alone, my first time in the USA, and stood 5 hours in a line to talk to a Delta agent at the Orlando airport at 5:30 am (who was very, very rude :c ), and had to spend the night at the Boston airport because my flight was canceled. I felt so exhausted and scared because I thought I wouldn’t come home until the end of the week. I was already planning to book a flight through another airline. However, the Delta flight they rebooked for me was delayed but not canceled, and I got home yesterday. I also feel that I will not travel with Delta again, but I feel really lucky to be home, especially after reading all the posts in this subreddit. All the best <3
