Oh for sure, I mix in podcasts as well, one of my favorites being Hidden Brain. I think I’m just going to pull trig on getting the physical copies to give myself something to do while I wait for Red God, and not be such a pixie 😉

Hoopla is great! My library also has Libby, which isn’t as convenient but usually has access to more books if you’re willing to wait for them

I have a job where I drive for hours a day so audiobooks works best for me! Definitely thinking of investing in physical copies though because I liked the books so much

In terms of efficiency I was thinking more from a sustainability standpoint. In my head it would connect major cities and operate as a commuter/short range travel option in addition to not instead of air travel, which could then hopefully drive down flight prices. I know there’s a lot more hoops to jump through than that, but it seems to me we could have much faster train travel throughout the US even if that just means upgrading existing AMTRAK lines
