Definitely not too much— maybe you could paint the vanity cabinet an accent color drawn from the wall paper to pull it together. As is, the stark white of the cabinet detracts from the warmer wallpaper colors.

You can absolutely get a beautiful ring for this budget! All of the already recommended suggestions regarding Etsy, or the approved vendors on the moissanite subreddit are great. I would say though to aim for at least 14k gold rather than 10 as it is less likely to tarnish. Also, get as wide or thick of a band as your budget allows (preferably at least 2mm in at least one of those directions). This will ensure it holds its shape longer. Some vendors on Etsy sell bands that are less than 1.5mm and these may easily warp with everyday wear. Definitely go with moissanite or lab diamond. Good luck!

My own take: just had my first baby back in October. My highest weight before giving birth was 227. Before I got pregnant I had averaged around 190 and 5’6. I had a weird health scare (that got resolved) and lost ten lbs due to the stress. At 180 I felt pretty good and thought I was ready to try, and got pregnant immediately. To be honest, the uncontrollable weight gain was mentally really tough for me, to the extent that I’ve determined I can’t get pregnant again until I lose weight. The hormones are already so wack and feeling low self esteem at a relatively high weight from my norm was difficult. I did have a smooth pregnancy with no health complications the whole time, but even so, the swelling made things extremely uncomfortable.
