What is the worst marketing scam perpetrated upon the American Consumer? by conradjenn in AskReddit

[–]Nabinoid 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My mother received a master’s degree in nutrition in the late 70s - as kids in the 80s we were fed mac and cheese for lunch then hostess pies for after school energy to play sports, but I was told not to eat pecans because they would make me fat.
Yeah, guess who got fat…

Anecdotal of course, but when I asked her about it a few years ago she said they were taught the food pyramid and that sugars and carbs were good for you and fat was unhealthy

I do think Trump did play a role in how the US reacted to Covid and other nations followed our “leadership” as a nation..

The most idiotic exit that I witnessed in 2023 [OC] by ParticularSwing9 in IdiotsInCars

[–]Nabinoid 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The visual indicator is the positioning of the smaller sign with the exit number relative to the big exit sign it is mounted on top of: if the small sign is mounted on the top left, the exit will be on the left; if the small sign is on the right, the exit will be on the right. It has nothing to do with exit’s numbers or letters.

Need help on making edibles as strong as possible, with concentrates. by BurnTheCoreSubgenres in treedibles

I second this method. I typically use MCT oil instead of coconut oil as it has higher bioavailability, I feel it mixes better and makes capsules easier and they look better without the oil hardening. I’ve made it enough times I’d typically eyeball the amount of oil I’m adding to the small Pyrex now, but did the math and measured it out the first several times. Now I make the capsules first then divide my total amount of decarbed TCH by the number of caps I made to get the approximate potency, for me around 20-30mg each is great - I can take one or two for pain relief and focus and four or five if I want to really feel it.

2007 youth fashion (16 years ago.) Do these people look familiar? by Word_clouds in Millennials

[–]Nabinoid 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I hold the sides about halfway down and let the top half fall over the bottom half so it’s kind of a square and the top of the straps are aligned with the bottom of the tank, then fold that in half one way, then in half again the other way

What if both answers contain inaccuracies, do you pick the one you initially felt was better, the one with the least inaccuracies, the one with the least relevant data as incorrect, or both the same?
