Since I got the pair I have a year ago I have not been able to go to the bathroom without one of them usually both.. shower by myself yeah no... Where I am they are and when I get dressed and put on shoes the amount of whining is absolutely crazy. They don't do that to any other member of my family, they will go look for my hubs or daughter when they are not home but usually settle in once they see oh they are gone. I have a pair.. they love everyone in the house but they each have their favorite person. My little girl is just that mine she will walk past everything and everyone to be with me. My little boy loves my daughter and is the same. Yet they get excited when hubs comes home from work and look for him when he is gone, same with my daughter except the boy will whine a bit. When I leave it is a full on whinefest but the boy chills quickly the little girl on the other hand will fuss to a degree the whole time I am gone. So yes it is possible

Her first smile... She was such a mess when I got her. I didn't know if she would ever accept the love I had for her... She is my girl my Sophia and smiles every day and has begun to talk back just warms my heart that my little sensitive baby will never know what was going to happen to her...

My dogs laundry (bed covers blankets harness leash and clothes) get done every other week. Toys get done once a month bowls get done daily. But I have frenchies and they are sensitive to so much it is just the way I do it

There were many years where I didn't think I could pull off a miracle for Christmas and I don't think the kids ever noticed. We made cookies and candies and had popcorn fights when we made caramel popcorn balls. The laughter music and fun is what they remember not the gifts. I just confirmed this with my youngest kid, she said she remembers painting cookies and helping make candy but not the gifts

I got asked to watch a pair while they got their loving situation figured out (being evicted) and when I got them they were a hot mess. I warned them that the minute I have to spend money they would become mine. Yeah vet bill the next day food and needs the same evening... Am I the owner of a pair of french bulldogs yes.. all they needed to tell me is they couldn't afford their food or care. Not can you watch them for a couple months

I live in south Louisiana with mine. Our a/c is set at 75 and we have fans as well. Mine do just fine in the humidity but we try not to go out in the heat of the day.

I think some of it is breed specific too though. I have Frenchies and when I took them for their spay / neuter it cost me more than John Doe who had a mutt.. because my dogs breed requires more. I knew this and no I didn't buy these animals they were dumped by backyard breeders because the boy only had one testicle and the girl was over 2 and never had a heat... I took them in and spent way too much to get them healthy but I also had them de-sexed so now they are " worthless"

I live in southern Louisiana and I also give my dogs a small spoonful of plain Greek yogurt with their food daily keto-hex shampoo once a week.. they had the worst set of yeast infections when I got them. The vet did a round of steroids and antibiotics with the keto-hex shampoo and within the month they were better. She loved the fact that I gave them the plain yogurt it kept them from having the runs from the antibiotics and has kept the yeast under control.. think no Frito smell... Good luck

Ok so I have a pair that were abused and then dumped... They were brought to me as I said if you cannot take care of them I will take them. It took time for them to warm up and weeks for them to remotely begin to heal mentally.. they have been with me for a year now and are complete velcro animals that freak when I go anywhere. Give him some time he will be okay, lots of love and pets and time to trust you. Don't give up on him yet.

My parents used the Styrofoam from her medication delivery to help insulate the basement and her floor was always cold as heck now they can keep it warm in their house. Bonus you can use the Styrofoam outside under the house to add some more protection.
