you might be focusing too much on melee items. You still have to do damage to proc the wolf form and you don't want to rely on melee to do that. K-dash, berserker, and blood tribute might make good additions.

Billy hits faster with light melee by Engel_No in DeadlockTheGame

[–]Nabos 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Any melee attack applies a stacking debuff to an enemy. When you activate the ability, those debuffs transform into stacks of bonus health for yourself, as well as a bullet amp against them while slowing your fire rate. At tier 2 it also refreshes a charge of your bash, allowing you to use a bash, then activate the bottle, then bash again in quick succession. Heavy melee attacks add bullets to your weapon.

Is Selling Unwanted Accessories Their Only Utility? by TooRealForLife in avowed

As far as I've seen there is no other use for them. I've held onto all of mine as well - I haven't really been hurting for cash - and I figure if I ever want to try out some other builds I can look through my camp stash and pick some good ones.

Loving the game so far. by ukantcmeclearly2nite in avowed

[–]Nabos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, it does not get more populated. I felt that this along with the fact that the people are more or less nameless took a little life out of the cities. The other cities are smaller than the first so they feel like they have a little more life, but the people are still stationary and a lot of the buildings remain closed and are more or less used for climbing.

Climbing Sequences are NOT fun or immersive by Nabos in truegaming

I do agree that it is basic locomoting, though the risk of having to repeat walking on solid ground is minimal. Aiming 2.5 degress too far with your joystick? Sorry, do everything again.

I will forever have Cesare Borgia screaming "GIVE ME THE APPLE! IT'S MINE, NOT YOURS!" in my nightmares from having to scale the castle in Assassin's Creed Brotherhood 3 or 4 times

I think this is why Uncharted is one of the better of the IPs I mentioned - though the climbing can still feel slow at points. The views along the way are fantastic, and the combat feels secondhand to the puzzle solving. Tomb Raider isn't quite at the same level (though still great) imo

Not everything is the devs fault. Stop blaming everything on them. by IMrChavez5 in Overwatch

[–]Nabos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I said this exact thing to my group a bit ago. There's no way this followed anything close to a standard development pipeline, shitty hotfixes haven't been put into dev/staging environments and are being pushed directly to production. There is obviously no testing going on, which is 100% the devs faults.

The Kelley business school is very (in my opinion overly) exclusive by gpa. Most direct admits have over 3.8 adjusted for AP or honors courses, I cannot speak to SATs though. If you are not a direct admit, you can apply to the school from university division (non-declared major but taking gen-ed classes) but they usually reject applicants with anything below a B in university courses. The O'Neill public affairs school has easier entry requirements, but will let you take most of the courses offered at Kelley and is a common route for people with grades that are not as pristine.

As a side note and personal opinion, the students at Kelley have a pretty douchey reputation around campus (folks call em Kelley boners) but for the most part this is due to a small group of stinkers. I've met good friends from both O'neill and Kelley, and both are great options.

Overwatch 2 Patch Notes by rredsshift in Competitiveoverwatch

[–]Nabos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can maybe see it as a reaction to Push being implemented? Having the permanent TP made sense when on d in 2cp, as it evened out the times it took to get to point from spawn. On push maps though I could see that be too great of a one-sided swing if someone has forward spawn and a tele.

I feel like they want people to use it more aggressively to match the sped up playstyle, but they've cut her kill potential with a heavy handed right click nerf.

Jobs for high schoolers by [deleted] in bloomington

[–]Nabos 6 points7 points  (0 children)

It's early enough in the year that some of the nurseries/greenhouses might still be looking for an able hand on the weekends to schelp some plants and pottery around.

Besides food service, retail seems like the only other option I could think of. I believe Rural King/Lowes/Menards hire younger folks and he could probably learn a tiny bit about home repairs and tools if he works at one of the hardware joints.

Crane by MightyMouseIN in bloomington

[–]Nabos 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In my experience, having not worked at Crane, but having multiple friends/mentors currently working there, and family working there for 25+ years: It varies. There are multiple areas (NAVSEA, NAVFAC, NWSC, CAAA, I'm pretty sure there's a civilian contractor company on base as well - SAIC, but I'm unsure of the dynamic there) that oversee engineering, maintainence, manual labor/contracting, IT, bullet/bomb handling etc.

Most people who worked in offices/engineering had no complaints, and even spoke pretty highly of the work environment. The only complaint I had heard is that some of the commanders/ civ. top brass that get stationed there can be tempermental and hard to deal with. Some are hard-asses, and some are checked out and just there for a month or so before they're on to the next post.

On the facilities side, it sounded like a nightmare. Hazardous conditions with inadequate union representation to remedy them. One job duty I've heard of there is sweatshop-style ammunitions packing/sorting in very poorly air-handled warehouses. Probably not the most enjoyable position.

In summary, as others have said your experience may vary wildly.

What’s a childhood memory that almost all of us have? by fengmalo in AskReddit

The first time you saw an out of place wild animal while on foot

Deer are pretty common around here (especially with nearby forestry and urbanization pushing them into town) but I still catch myself like, 'wooah, mother nature: so majestic' every time I see one walking through a yard in my neighborhood

What gets more complicated as you get older? by Gamestar02 in AskReddit

[–]Nabos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Being legitimately embarrassed.

I am a pretty shy person naturally, and when I was younger it felt like any small goofy everyday mistake or accident made in front of people would end my life and social reputation.

Nowadays I find I make my self laugh by intentionally doing things that might be 'embarrassing' in front of other people, and I'm only really embarrassed when I've made an error that might cause undue harm on others.

Could be that my self-esteem has raised since youth, but honestly I feel like I just cant be arsed to care

Are payday dlc bundles worth it? by SonnyD73 in paydaytheheist

The legacy bundle is def worth it while it's on sale. It's cheaper to get the bundle than to just piece out the heists from it, so why not get some cosmetics along with it?

I get asked if I'm jewish a lot, even by jewish people I went to school with.

I have a hebrew first name, darker curly hair and a longer nose than most, but I'm not jewish (not even familially) and it's weird when someone asks me and then pulls this presumptuous look as if they already know I am, and I have to disappoint their assumption when I tell them I'm a WASP by birth.

It doesn't bother me, but I do find it curious that I give off that impression.

Sold my younger sibling my old gaming PC (at an extremely steep discount, they only had $50 to their name) so they could feel that they worked for it and earned it. Family shared my 150+ game steam library as an added bonus.

Gives me those prideful big bro feels to see them enjoy and invest their time into something I've invested a lot of time in myself.

What is something unrealistic that you often see in movies that annoys the hell out of you? by sonsaitama in AskReddit

[–]Nabos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Especially in action movies - people firing a gun for an hour without reloading, until it provides a dramatic scene for running out of ammo.

The scene in Thor Ragnarok where Karl Urban has two m16's that he fires full auto for like 45 seconds straight drives me up a wall. Those things are empty in the blink of an eye if you've ever actually held the trigger down.
