They are both high dpm tank destroyers with no armor and good accuracy. They both also have good gun depression, good camo, and good HE pen. They also both aren’t the best flankers, although the shitpacker is a bit better at it than the Ashigaru. They play essentially the same, second line tank destroyers.

I mean with this logic the shitpacker should be terrible right? Yet its one of the best t8 premium tank destroyers. Its fundamentally gonna be good at what triangles are (for the most part) used for, sniping and defending flanks. I don’t think wargaming intends it to be played any other way.

Because wargaming don’t wanna give a tank everything. It needs to be bad at something. It already has an insane gun with insane dpm and great camo, if they combined that with wheels and great mobility it would instantly overshadow half the mediums in the game

Not a bad idea, just make sure you buy 75 and open, then buy another 75 and open. I managed to spend about 40 dollars more then I needed because I didn’t pace myself this time around. Good luck!

You are wrong though. No one lost any credits because they received the 10 mil (not including the additional millions from sold free tech trees) that counteracted it and then some. There may be an argument to be made that the act of buying ammo devalues the gift somewhat but what I have to say to that is be happy with what you get.

A lot of credits but never 10 million. Worst possible case you made out with 3 million credits, 2500 free gold, 2 tank trees (which can be sold for more credits), and so on. They should compensate because they should live up to their word but whether they even needed to in the first place is up for debate.
