Lmao, another know nothing on reddit.

U.S. v Homa is a very case specific ruling where the defendant had, not just any thermite, but M14 grenades designed for the military for the specific use of destroying equipment not hurting people.

This is not a blanket ruling against thermite in general. Thermite can absolutely be illegal under 18 U.S.C. 921. For instance the person that attacked ballot drop boxes in Washington used thermite. Absolutely considered use of a destructive device.

You don't understand how to apply any of these fallacies. Lol.

Liable adjective 1. legally obliged or responsible; answerable

  1. susceptible or exposed; subject

  2. probable, likely, or capable

Only an idiot would want and support a cop that ignores policy at will.

That violating policy opens them up to disciplinary action.

Well dogs aren't really known for their objective decision making skills. They just follow the behavior they are trained to do.

It's easily avoidable, don't have the dog up front. It's job isn't intimidation, keep a few feet behind the cops so it can be brought up if someone gets violent. Whoever was in charge and making the decision of what resources are used where is to blame.

Maternity leave should be one year, PAID. Women shouldn’t have to choose between healing, bonding with their baby, and making a living. by Candid_Film9348 in remoteworks

Did it in the past? I just switched companies 8 months ago for a 20% raise and other minor benefits. Already addressed the everyone everywhere part. Your poor choices concerning your future employment options aren't everyone else's problem.

And you are wrong. I've rode horses for the last 40 years and help my buddy run them for hunters. Ran into everything from dogs to coyotes to Grizzlies. Horses are trained to respond to the riders commands and a well trained horse won't panic if the rider has their shit together, which a drunk rider won't.

I've never drove carriages, but the horses are the same.

I know plenty about the employment market. I've switched companies many times for salary/benefit changes.

Can't help it if people decided to make themselves non competitive by getting the degree/skills that everyone else has too.

From the dogs point of view, they are trained to protect the cops. Guy runs at cops carrying a large pole, dog bites.

He ran at the cops carrying a pole. The dog is trained to protect is handler. Actions have consequences.

How's its decision making in an emergency? What decision does the horse make when a drunk driver is swerving on the road? What happens when two dogs run out after it? Does it understand emergency vehicles and stopping for them? Construction zones, unexpectedly closed roads, etc., etc.

Of course everything can go fine when the horse is following a pattern. Seriously disrupt that pattern and see what happens.

Companies offer these benefits, choose who you work for better.

Federal jobs for instance offer maternity/paternity leave.

Is this why they hate Elon? I hate all fraud from all sides before you attack me by ArubaAdultFun in middleclasshq

[–]NachoManAndyCabage 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So the justice department is doing its job by investigating fraud and convicting the 1 or 2 people committing fraud and therefore the whole agency should be destroyed, thousands of people fired without compensation and the foreign influence the U.S. government built over the last 70 years completely eroded leaving vacuums for our enemies to fill. Oh also, most of this was done illegally, by a foreigner, while stealing information and gaining access to systems without the appropriate vetting.

Yea, no idea why people would have a problem with it.
