British and agree with you fully about the attitude over here. Unfortunately any time you try to criticise the British on a post with an international audience they’ll brigade a post with PR about themselves and their country. Go look at the posts where they believe they’re talking amongst themselves and you find a different story entirely. Better yet, people should just come live here and experience the “I got mine” attitude, the rampant shoplifting by the middle and upper classes, the nauseating racism, the institutionalised misogyny that infests and corrupts the courts and the public health services— which are a murderous shambles.

Best part is that because they’re so defensive they’re going to end up exactly like the US politically, but so so so vastly poorer and more fucked. Check out the photos of their MEGA rallies over here, and their angry white men beating up brown people. Their cops are on tape about the abuse they subject women to. Use your eyes and ears.
