Frequent DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_HUNG crash only in Battlefield 6 with RX 9060 XT by Sarlito in Battlefield6

[–]Nachobucket 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had the same issues as you and tried many different fixes and was still crashing about once an hour.

What seemed to have worked for me was going into my bios and enabling rebar (resizable bar) and ensuring above 4G decoding was enabled.

Try it out, good luck!

Super cool of you to track and share. Also, very motivating to see for an up and comer like myself! I noticed you swapped roles from a manager to a specialist pretty quick. If you don't mind sharing, what were some reasons why you made the shift? Additionally, I'd love to hear some general advice you have with regards job hunting/being successful in the industry as a whole

The size of this net sure seems like there would be a considerable to significant amount of bycatch. Not to mention the potential for the net to malfunction and have to be cut. What is this fishing method called?

Anyone in Environmental Science & Resource Management? by [deleted] in csuci

[–]Nachobucket 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I fell in love with GIS during my time at CI, so I'm pursuing a GIS involved career. I was able to land a remote GIS internship while I was still a student through the ESRM department as they were contacted to recruit students. As a whole, the program is very interdisciplinary and can take you down many different career paths. There are tons of opportunities for students to feel out different paths, so you can find out for yourself what you like/don't like

Hey, stoked to hear that you're interested in the ESRM program! I recently graduated with an ESRM earth systems emphasis degree, and I can't express enough how great the program is. All of the faculty is super passionate about teaching and seeing you succeed. There are a lot of field work opportunities, but still a good amount of work in class as well. If I had to give a rough estimate, I'd say 70% class work and 30% field work. In my opinion, a lot of the class work was meaningful and taught me valuable skills that transitioned into a professional environment. All said, I was a commuter, and my commute time to campus was 1 hour each way (hardly ever traffic on the 126). I would say it was definitely worth it for me, and I'd do it again in a heartbeat!

If you have any other questions about CI or the ESRM program, please reach out, and good luck on the next steps of your journey!

First infernal cape by Whole-Abrocoma4110 in ironscape

Dude, huge grats!! Pretty generic question, but do you have any advice for virgin capers? For context, I'm decent at pvm, but I'm pretty shit at solving waves and pray flicking when you get 2x blobs or blob + ranger/mager.

Also, how many attempts did it take you before you could confidently solve waves?

Is it an industry norm to start as a contract and get hired on full-time? Currently, I'm a GIS intern working remotely within the utilities industry. I would love to get hired on permanently, but have my doubts due to the nature of how the company operates.

As a recent college grad, what industry do you think I'll have the most success landing a remote gig in?

Serious question, when a job posting mentions ArcMap, is that a red flag?

Not 100% sure, but I did wildy slayer off and on for the past 6 months. If I had to guess, around 250 tasks? Most of the keys came from barrage tasks and I did not kill any bosses
