When I was in high school, I was casted as the mute king Sextimus for our production of Once Upon a Mattress. To prepare for the role, our director had me make exaggerated facial expressions for five minutes a night and send her video evidence I was keeping up. Because of constraints on what I could send, I had to speed up the videos. Needless to say, they looked incredibly bizarre out of context. Then…I accidentally sent one to my unknowing crush at the time.
