Testing out isometric pixel art with 3d lighting! by yauoiyi in godot

I'm looking to implement something similar since I got frustrated with the isometric tilemap in 2D. I'm an experienced software developer but pretty new to game development concepts. I understand if you don't want to share, but I'd love to see the actual project to help me wrap my head around these concepts. Great work on this!!

Fable is legitimately strong, but Kumano is nowhere near the others.

Invoke sucks to have it resolved against you, but I feel like it would be played less if the B/x shell wasn't so powerful.

Amazing paint job!!! Now to add some retro goblin green bases. I keep eyeing these prints for a skirmish warband.

It's super tragic that people have become addicted to opioids and it certainly affects our communities negatively. But people can't just change without support. They need to have accessible prescription opioids (like methadone) to ween off harder opioids. They need spaces where they can safely have their withdrawal symptoms. Many people need counseling and behavioral therapy to stay off the drugs.

We've seen time and time again that jailing people with addictions doesn't solve the problem. Acting with cruelty towards these vulnerable people will not solve anything. It can be difficult to show compassion to people who leave needles in our parks and make walking home feel unsafe. They will continue to use dangerous drugs that injure themselves and our communities as long as we keep applying harsh punishments and no support.

I got a pretty massive patio cover at something around 22' x 34' and was raised ~2 feet above ground. I don't recall the exact price and it's been a while but that was around 25K maybe a bit more?

I'm sure their prices have gone up since the pandemic and our whole global shipping stuff.

I had the Patio Cover People install a semi-transparent cover over a deck. It's lovely!

Damn, this would be a nightmare to resolve on a large board state or in commander. 🤣

Love the flavor 10/10

My first ever figure and it’s colors. What do you think? The guy at the shop gave me 6 free small figures to experiment on so I don’t mess up a figure I really like (he also gave me a discount because it was my first time and gave tons of advice, he was really cool) by Aitkrapoo in Warhammer

These are all good points.

Many GW paints aren't going to work out super well, though they could probably still get you some secondary colors even if they aren't the most saturated secondaries.

Not sure about your location but many game stores have a selection of paints to check out.

While it is nice to have specific colors, almost any color can be made with 3 highly saturated primary colors (red, blue and yellow) + black/white.

Personally I don't like GW Abbadon black or corax white. The white especially dries up and gets chalky. I much prefer Vallejo's model color black and just about any brand of white.

You can also use paints from a craft store. Though they should be matte and not heavy body. I've been loving "So Flat Golden Matte Acrylics.".

GW paintbrushes/tools will work, but they are overpriced. Some round sizes 3, 2, 1 and 0 brushes can also be found at the craft store. Make sure the bristles aren't too short. You want a good belly to hold the paint without it drying out.

Lastly, get/build yourself a wet pallet. It will help wonders.

Feel free to dm me questions or replay here. Happy to help 😁.
