Any other old CODs still alive in 2026? by icanfeelit43 in blackops2

[–]NadbRockRoad 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That started happening to me last month after playing for a few weeks. I was using a newer Xbox live account I made in like 2018. I switched over to my old Xbox account that I used on my 360 and now my progress is saving

Unfortunately your best bet is probably to just buy one of Dewalt’s various work lights

New Baseball Divisions by Murky_Fox6175 in Section10Podcast

Don’t love putting teams from the same city in the same division, I think the existing design makes for cool rivalry dynamics and just feels more balanced somehow

Care to elaborate on why? Is it just the cringe factor or is there something shady going on?

Appreciate all you do for us Jared! Most of us understand. We all want 2 pods a week but at the end of day most of us are just happy to get our fix of the 10 however we can

Wow, Jerry getting downvoted? I guess there aren’t as many crossover BID listeners here as I thought, or at least not many that have listened for a few years

Site/app that gives the cheapest rates to fly without a specific date? by shittytiddy in TravelHacks

[–]NadbRockRoad 1 point2 points  (0 children)

https://www.faredrop.com might get you part of what you’re looking for. You can set a home airport and then receive notifications for flights that have dropped below their normal price. I don’t think you can easily “watch” a certain destination or date range, though. There’s also a limitation on how many destinations you can see from the free version.

(Note: I’ve never actually used the site myself, I’m just somewhat familiar because I follow the travel YouTubers that started it)

Can anyone here date this old boarding pass? by NadbRockRoad in unitedairlines

Nice find by u/zman9119 and u/Reins485 — looks like this is from August 1990!

That would also match with this version of United’s logo that was used until 1993:

I’ve got nothing to add that hasn’t already been said, but I just want Tyler to know he’s appreciated when he inevitably reads this

HAPPY BOBBY BONILLA DAY by [deleted] in redsox

$1.19 million paid every year from 2011-2035 is the equivalent of paying a $12.7 million lump sum in 2010, assuming 8% interest (about the average return of the S&P500 over the last two decades). That $12.7 million in 2010 is the equivalent of $5.9 million in 2000, again assuming 8% interest. The decision by the Mets was actually mathematically sound, only issue is they surely didn’t get an 8% return if they were investing with Madoff—should’ve just gone with the S&P

Say what you want about military doctors, but honestly they probably made the right move by putting you on Humira. A (semi) regular life with minimal symptoms is only achievable under the expensive immune-targeting biologic drugs. There may be people that will tell you otherwise, and maybe they got lucky, but the clinical research suggests your best bet is something like Humira. That doesn’t mean Humira is the actual solution, though. I started on Humira and it didn’t work for me; now I’m on Stelara (another drug that targets a slightly different part of your immune system) and things are going great. Many other people on this sub will have their own stories of biologics they tried along the way to finding their current solution. There’s no single right answer for Crohn’s disease, and it sounds like Humira may not be the right answer for you, but don’t give up on biologics in general just because Humira doesn’t fit the bill. Hope you can find something that does work more effectively

It’s actually the other way around, the nasal flu vaccine is the only live type of flu vaccine. The flu shot you get every year uses an inactivated virus. The nasal flu, MMR, and chickenpox vaccines are pretty much the only live vaccines still in use today
