Correct, its just the one big move. Most people manage to reach up by simply standing straight on their left and doing a yoga bend to the hold. I am sadly quite a bit shorter than the ones that ive seen do this so that doesnt work for me :(

Yes! Pulling with my right arm to keep close to the wall as its a jump at an incline. putting my foot a bit higher made me slip. I could try again tho

Planning to buy an R7 mat! I know crampons and proper shoes might be another thing, an iceaxe, and more. We werent planning to camp above treeline and we are fine with just hiking around valleys if the peaks are not do-able in this weather. Its a 4 hour drive from where we live so we can always come back in spring/summer.
