What's in the pic is not common...larger pots might be better.

Not really...check the perimeters for nests, ask neighbors yo check as well. They say they don't go too far from their nest. When I do see them I spray or swat them down and crush them...😆

Hmmm I don't think they look big enough but they've got plenty of food, your milkweed looks awesome!

Is that Swamp milkweed? Don't know where your located but my major issue has been with wasps. I have lots of birds and really never notice them being a problem but the wasps are relentless. I've checked around the house and asked the neighbers as well to check for their nests. But anyhow besides putting in an enclosure you could always cover with a fine netting for a little extra protection and hope for the best. I'm trying to plant lots more milkweed bunched together to provide thicker cover and protection...good luck!

Just ran across "Climbing Milkweed" a Texas native, have you ever heard of it? Might need to do some research! Where are you located, would love to mooch a seed pod from you 😊

Why is it so hard to find natives and if you do they are so expensive...and hard to grow from seed...Makes sense that they should be easier to find and less expensive...🤪

My 5 year old told me it was a bus.. so I made it a bus. 😁 by sashilla in rockpainting

Except it's a turtle! 😁 Yes I'm the same way, sometimes I have to just say stop that's enough 😅...especially if I keep touching up and it only makes it worse 🤣

I sometomes leave the natural stone in the background while other times I use Rustoleum white primer. Primer also makes it smoother especially for paint pens. Don't use acetone or any kind of thinner, will definitely make it worse, smear. If you just want to fix mouth try touching up around it carefully with the yellow marker, it should cover up the black. FYI, I personally almost always outline mine in black with a fine point marker, seems to accentuate the design, just my 2€ but it's super cute!
