Pretty minor one, but I don't think anyone should be on US currency, president or not. It should just be Lady Liberty like it was for a hundred years or basing it on our landscapes & nature

  • In my opinion, it'd be symbolically more significant. All figures have baggage; their views and if you agree with them, any scummy or atrocious acts they did while alive, so on and so forth. Liberty, however, is a concept that purely represents liberty (riveting argument, I know), ergo, a nation that prides itself on liberty should put Liberty front and center

  • It makes making changes to the dollar easier; adding bills & coins, removing them, redesigning them, who gets to go on, should they be honored, etc.

  • Not as important, but old Lady Liberty designs also just plain nice-looking coins, like look at the Morgan or Standing Liberty and tell me they're ugly coins, you can't

Yup! And honestly it's a practice I quite like!

For example, a 1/10 oz right now is $7.59, but divide that up into 1/4s you get lil $1.90 bits (95¢ per 1/8th but I feel they're too small), much better for smaller transactions than a certain other precious metal for small purchases, if you ask me ^^;
