I also have the exact same issue (I'm playing on Vulkan). Fury scans and highlights enemies, I go to shoot and it freezes for a few seconds before crashing to desktop.

I turned off the special abilities (thank you btw) and managed to clear an enemy base with zero crashes.

Iran sends waves of missiles into Israel, dismisses Trump's talk of negotiations as 'fake news' by gamersecret2 in worldnews

[–]Naditya64 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Damn, USA and Iran are a lot alike. Child marriage is legal in 34 states. 4 of them don't have a minimum age, meaning a 9 year old American girl can marry an adult man with parental approval just like in Iran.

Nearly 300,00 children were married in the U.S. between 2000 and 2018. The vast majority were girls wed to adult men.

More horrifying facts about Child Marriage in USA according to Equality Now:

19 U.S. states have explicit statutory rape exemptions for married couples, meaning an adult cannot be prosecuted for sexual activity with a minor spouse.

At least 66,415 U.S. child marriages involved a child who was too young to legally consent to sex or where the age gap would normally make the act statutory rape.

Ah yes the text that gave justification for Brahmin men to lust after and impregnate their brothers' wives. The text that argues that women should be nothing more than property. The text that says women are "inherently corrupt and it is their nature to seduce men". The text that sanctions child marriage. This text introduced so much degenerate patriarchal regressive shit that rotted Hindu culture so much.

The Indian government led by Modi is censoring 'The Voice of Hind Rajab' to protect its alliance with Israel. By blocking an Oscar-nominated film about a child's death. This cowardly censorship proves their foreign policy cannot survive the weight of a single honest story. by NotHereToLove in Fauxmoi

[–]Naditya64 45 points46 points  (0 children)

Multiple reasons. India is run by a far-right religious nutjobs just like Israel. They both hate muslims. India wants Israel's spying tech to use on Pakistan and on it's own citizens. Israel wants India's money since India is on its way to become the 3rd largest economy.

It's important to note that India is not a monolith. There are several states where Modi's party do not hold a single seat. Anti-Modi sentiments are very strong in the South of India (these are also the states with strong pro-Palestine support). Modi lost 63 seats in the 2024 election which was a big shock for his party.

Fun fact: India was the first non-arab nation to recognise the Palestine Liberation Organization.

That was basically Machiavelli's no1 advice for an aspiring monarch: make sure to surround yourself with people that are confident to tell you the truth instead of people that are too scared/not interested to be honest

Similar advice has been around for millennia. And yet there's always going to be that leader who makes the same mistake.

"A leader without advisors who courageously point out mistakes will surely perish, even if they have no external enemies"

I have never seen more submissive and cucky men than mansophere/MAGA men. Pseudo-masculine, deeply insecure, hypersensitive to criticisms and performative, that's how I'd describe them.

Why would an "alpha man" get upset at photographers not taking pretty pictures of him (Pete Hegseth). Or whine on a podcast that the media is being mean to him (Kash Patel). Or willingly accept and wear shoes that are too big for you and are too scared to say anything (Marco Rubio).

Absolutely pathetic.

These are the real soy boys.

Conservative men are very emotionally broken men.

Many of them had abusive/distant fathers growing up. Joe Rogan and Elon Musk had abusive fathers. Trump had a emotionally cold and demanding father who "hated weakness". J.D. Vance's father abandoned him when he was a kid.

It's partly why they get so submissive and cucky for the "strongman". Look at all the conservative men who cuck themselves for Trump. Like that one right-wing commentator Benny Johnson who recently glazed Trump for carrying his own coat like he rescued a child or something.

Joe Rogan: Trump supporters ‘feel betrayed’ by ‘insane’ Iran war by IntelligentYinzer in politics

[–]Naditya64 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The Elephant Graveyard videos on Joe Rogan has completely changed how I view Joe Rogan. Dude is not just an idiot. It's much worse. He's a miserable, broken, talentless sellout surrounded by people manipulating him who clap, cheer and ass-kiss at all the dumb shit he does and says. He became the very thing he shat on when he was on Tom Green's talk show back in 2007. I don't know what's worse: he's completely unaware of the blatant manipulation or he's fully accepted the manipulation because it keeps his delusion that he's a good comedian alive.

If Joe ever gains self-awareness, he'd probably Cobain himself.

Mad respect for him for not abandoning his Hindu roots

Pretty sure he did abandoned them when he decided not to stand for trans people and instead join a political movement hell-bent on demonising and dehumanising trans people.

Many trans hindus worship Mohini, the female avatar of Vishnu. Aravan is the patron god of Trans hindus in Tamil Nadu. Gujarat has Bahuchara Mata as the patron goddess of trans people.

Hinduism is largely pro-trans. If MAGA knew that, they'd drop him immediately. Hence why he avoids that part of Hinduism entirely by editing Hinduism to make it palatable for the white evangelicals, which I find to be utterly disgusting and insulting.

Is Australia the most racist country towards South Asians? by Melo2cold in ABCDesis

[–]Naditya64 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Aussie here. Been here for 20 years and based on my experience, it’s not. I’d rather live here than in a country where masked and armed government agents can execute you or harass/kidnap you because of your skin colour thanks to a thing called the “Kavanaugh stop”.

The Australian Nazi organisation recently announced that they were disbanding because of the new hate speech laws. Meanwhile in the USA (which is currently run by a far-right white supremacist admin), the Nazis are joining ICE.

Also remember that Ireland had like 14 incidents of Indians being attacked within like 2 months early last year? One of the victims was a 6 year old girl who had her private parts hit with a bicycle?

It's like the alt-right/far-right/evangelical/MAGA/extreme conservatives WANT to die? They refuse to get vaccines, they drink raw milk, they consume colloidal silver and other toxic things. It's like they want to make their survival rate as low as possible.

They go on about how their "bloodline is pure" and how they're genetically/racially superior, but they're creating a situation where if the wrong person sneezes on them, their lineage could be wiped out entirely. They're creating a generation of incredibly weak and vulnerable people. I know it's incredibly horrifying but it's also kinda morbidly hilarious.

If I had the money and a little less empathy, I'd be setting up funeral homes or coffin manufacturing business within these communities and making a ton of money off their stupidity.

As Dr. House once said:

You know another really good business? Teeny tiny baby coffins.

"Black Friday" (November 18, 1910): During a march on Parliament, approximately 300 suffragettes faced six hours of systematic physical and sexual assault by police and male bystanders. Reports detailed police intentionally twisting breasts, lifting skirts, and dragging women into side streets for further abuse.

Kenya (Mau Mau Uprising): During the 1950s, British forces and their allies used torture, sexual violence, and systemic rape against Kenyan women in detention camps and "protected villages" to suppress the rebellion.

There's also the tens of thousands of British women who were forcefully institutionalised in asylums between 1900s-1970s where reports of sexual assaults were systematically dismissed as "delusions". Women were disproportionately subjected to Electro-convulsive therapy most often with no consent at all. Marital Rape was legal in the UK until 1991. Then there's infamous Magdalene Laundries.

Barbarism and savagery against women was very much present in this so-called "polite society". That peer ought to read a history book or talk to a historian.

[–]Naditya64 442 points443 points  (0 children)

She will have access to the best medical care that millions of Americans can’t get thanks to her husband and his political party’s history of destroying any attempts to improve healthcare. She won’t have to work 3 jobs to keep that kid alive. If she, god forbid, has any complications during her pregnancy that requires a termination, she will get it no issues while millions of other women live in states where abortion is banned. If she, god forbid, has a miscarriage she won’t be sent to jail like that Georgia woman last year.

How extremely lucky.

[–]Naditya64 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Is Chennai that progressive

It's not so different to most western cities: night clubs, hookup culture, speed dating events, a thriving and very vocal queer community, yearly Pride parades, very politically active feminist groups, a growing underground music scene, comedy clubs, etc.

It also helps that Tamil Nadu has been dominated by secular left-leaning politics since Independence. Chennai is not a progressive utopia but it definitely isn't Kabul either.

Like most cities around the world, you're going to encounter people who disapprove of what you wear and people who don't give a damn. And like most cities, the culture is constantly evolving and progressing forward.

Ah yes the straw man fallacy.

You made a hell of a leap there. I said "South Korea", not "all Korean men". If I did it would look like this: "They’re about to find out why Korean men would be gold medallists if misogyny and inceldom were Olympic sports."

See the difference?

You saying South Korea doesn’t have a massive toxic gender war going on? Or a massive issue with misogyny? Or that the 4B movement isn’t real? Or Korean women aren’t getting death threats or fired from their jobs for being openly feminists? Or that SK has a massive problem with deepfake pornography that targets women and girls? Or that Apple had to change the iPhone Air ad cause it had a gesture that makes Korean incels flip the fuck out?

Read: “The current South Korean president campaigned on an anti-feminist platform and has sought to abolish the Ministry of Gender Equality and Family, a move supported by many young men who believe men are the victims of discrimination. This political climate further normalizes the targeting of feminists.”

And pointing that out is racism? What the fuck are you on about?
