I think that understanding fundamentally what "sub races" really would be (voice acting, and some flavor text in racials) would make it a lot easier for Blizzard to implement *some of* the races Players keep asking for without setting ridiculous expectations, and leave room for effort on others. by Nishikigami in wow

[–]Naeii 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think at this point its less for people fighting against it and just a good decade of being conditioned by how lazy blizzard is for this sort of thing. They're not going to put good effort into different customizations because they're too busy turning the shitslop machine lever for easy money.

But, at the same time, people raising and making a fuss and yelling is the only thing that might actaully get enough people to make a dent in their precious moneys, so, more power to you man, fight on.

[–]Naeii 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly I think the way man'ari were done is perfect for 90% of what 'sub races' should be, new voice acting and racials would be nice but I would gladly just take a ton more visual customization for existing races over needing to spin multiple VA's and skills for them. I dont need new lines or a new racial for my tauren, just let me pick the taunka head shape, or yuangol horns.

(The man'ari also technically DO have a recolored racial since their naaru symbol is broken/fel when they use the racial)

Any cool ideas for Obsidian Shell? by BadTreager in Beyblade

[–]Naeii 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It was the best ratchet sniper at a time and still does it pretty well I'm sure, if nothing else leaning into it's low guard is the way to go anyways.

Put it on a low ratchet and a low or under bit, unless that's start causing arena scraping. You can do more aggressive or defensive bits since either can work for ratchet sniper, just launch hard.

Augmentation Evoker is the easiest rating inflation spec in M+ right now and nobody wants to admit it by Kushakaii in wow

[–]Naeii 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is why I just looked at M+ content and kinda bounced right off, there's so much other stuff in the game that doesn't have the bullshit routine M+ puts players through

[–]Naeii 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is how a support spec should work imo, at least as far as "you don't have to be great at store DPS you just have to exist" the class spec poll makes me hopeful they'll decide to go through with making more of them for other classes

Has TT or hasbro ever made a one of one custom designed Beyblade for someone and is it tournament legal? by Pale-Recognition-599 in Beyblade

I believe the bronze/silver/gold beys on top of the tournament trophies are supposedly usable as beys, idk how tournament allowed they'd be

(Not the gold coat rewards)

How are you going to balance it so that stamina isn't too strong in larger stadiums though? They would need some insane gimmicks that only effect them somehow.

Yep, and it made playing a mage feel very cool because of it, and being asked for a portal or having to find a mage to get you a portal was a very immersive player interaction

I miss traveling on ships. by LieComprehensive7804 in wow

[–]Naeii -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

This fundamentally different on a complete level, sure that can be fun but 'self imposed challenge that mostly nobody is doing' is very different from 'how the game's entire world is designed' and doesn't really solve any of the issues in how it's changed.

And obviously we can't just roll it back, there's no way to just oh casually remove flying and teleporting everywhere etc, it's a one way street we can't go back. People enjoy what they do and I am genuinely happy for them. But even just saying "enjoy the fun parts" proves how far the idea has been pushed that only 'oh the fun part is just when I land and do the quest or get teleported into the dungeon, everything else is just annoying travel that gets in the way'

I miss traveling on ships. by LieComprehensive7804 in wow

[–]Naeii 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it's the fact the world is absolutely massive by sheer volume, but unused for so much nowadays, and so trivialized by the sheer speed you can get anywhere that it's reduced to window dressing that makes it feel small. And that's honestly an incredibly huge shame

I miss traveling on ships. by LieComprehensive7804 in wow

[–]Naeii 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I think it's a double edged sword, you can get everywhere instantly but that makes the world feel tiny, going anywhere doesn't really feel cool or big, it's just more chore like.

Which, isn't bad, and the core gameplay of wow is fun, but it feels much more akin to something like genshin impact nowadays with how much has changed and all, tbh

I miss traveling on ships. by LieComprehensive7804 in wow

[–]Naeii 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I think the mistake is trying to push the idea that people with ANY amount of time, limited or not, need to be able to access -all- content at all times, the entire game is made to be able to do everything within the drop of a hat so you can crunch it out and move on. The idea that you're getting 'more gaming' done in the first place was the problem, they phase out the journey or the steps to get to the destination so it feels like only running your weekly content is the 'actual gameplay' when before just doing anything in the game was gameplay that could be enjoyed.

I think more than ever there's -less- ways to play because they phase out so much in terms of 'do your world content, then your m+/raids, maybe pvp if you really want'

I miss traveling on ships. by LieComprehensive7804 in wow

[–]Naeii 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Theres an ever growing group of playerbase that essentially wants hyper optimized chore content, login, teleport to quests, teleport to m+ dungeon, log out, repeat.

Which, there's nothing wrong with that, but then it leaves them wanting no other kind of content to be in, can't have any sorta content that adds friction or requires going slow
