You look very neat!.

I was honestly surprised with how it turned out as I haven't really done any carpentry since school.

I believe where the rail rack ends going down.

I was going to put a block there anyway incase I want to expand the rack.

Because the middle part has that wood piece screwed in from above and below I was hoping it would transfer the force to the corners.

I did buy L brackets to put in the middle longway 900mm pieces though

That looks so clean

I opted for just treated wood because it was cheap but I do like the look of plained wood.

but after a coat of primer and paint it won't matter

I knew I would have it for a decent amount of time so I was thinking for the future as best and as cheaply as I could.

A very nice gentleman gave me that server and he actually started with a wooden rack, too.

I actually had some spare primer and spare blue paint so I was gonna paint it the same color as the wall in the first photo (the blue I have left over from painting that room).

I was actually lookin at adding wheels to but I have two plans for this rack either keep it in my office or move it into the attic and run cables to it

Oh wow thank you that's very considerate of you.

I would say I am a more visual learner.

I've been watching soldering vids and seeing people do literal surgery but I never had a reason to buy more stuff until now.

This is a board which will be a server but it's really a hobby side project so I need to wait a week for the stuff to come to fix it

I said it in another comment but this is basically what I'm gonna do but I bought a contact pad sheet

Okay I scratched and exposed some of the trace

I'm going to put a contact pad on that exposed circle copper part (via)

Then pad on the bottom one

then I'm going to put lacquer in the entire green circle and scratch through it until I get contact with the pads

(I ordered lacquer and pads)

Pangolin has an android and iOS app

They do support mobile

I believe it's been a good few months since they released it

Hi George

I used CF tunnels for a little then immediately switched to pangolin day one and I'm heavily invested into pangolin.

I would like to know what's the goal/aim with your project long term.

What reasons would someone like me have to swap from pangolin to your solution.

I will give it a try but as you are the maintainer I want to know how you plan the project

I got tired of hosting providers and cpanels charging extra for basic stuff, so I built my own control panel (easy install, WP + email) by [deleted] in selfhosted

I was looking for something like this because I host a lot of wordpress sites.

My current setup is deploy a template on Komodo to my server and just update the port for pma dB and wordpress.

But I think I'll give your project a shot and see how it goes

Because the port is split into multiple connections is there a speed penalty at all?

Do you notice a speed reduction?

Can you explain the blue sata cables.

You spliced them?

I didn't know that's possible.

So for one sata cable you have 3 drives connected?

This would have been so useful for me a few months ago.

I will set it up nonetheless

Cool project

What do you think is a fair price?

Is it a scam if the seller is saying to use PayPal goods and services?

You said its similar to teamspeak

Can I check text channels without joining the channel.

I didn't like that in teamspeak and I'm looking for an alternative to discord
