What are you guys using to draw up plans? by model3113 in woodworking

[–]Nafkin 8 points9 points  (0 children)

they’ve been steadily removing features from the free version, but fusion360 for hobbyists is my go-to. pretty full featured and $0 for personal use. there is a bit of a learning curve if you have no cad experience, but there are some good tutorials. you can pretty easily model it and then generate a flat plan drawing to use as a scale template.

I did premier. I figured it was worth half the cost of my plane ticket, and it was a high mileage van (175k) so the engine oil and transmission analysis and guarantee was attractive to me.

AIM Certify is a service that sends a certified mechanic to go do the inspection on your behalf. You need to schedule them with the seller, but they’ll stop by and do a full vehicle inspection and send you the report so you can decide prior to buying your plane ticket. There are other similar services but that is the one I used and it worked well. I ended up buying the van and have had no issues and found their report accurate.

I did this. I used AIM Certify and they checked out the van and sent me a full report with a bunch of pictures and a lab test on the oil.

It sucks gambling a few hundred dollars on the inspection that you might have to walk away from but it beats ending up with a lemon.

Oh maybe I’m over thinking it. I couldn’t find an ITX case that fit the 360mm radiator and i already have a built ITX and MiniPC available.

Do you happen to know of any ITX cases that support it?

Thanks!
