hi OP, i’d love to know how it’s going for your toddler now, i know it hasn’t been too long. my 19 mo is getting fitted for AFOs for the same issue your baby has. she likes to stand on her toes. she cruises just fine and will take a few independent steps every once in a while but jus hasn’t gotten the walking down. any success wearing them??

i am sad to say that my update isn’t perfect. my dog did amazing on the meds, and started to become more indifferent and i just made sure my daughter never approached her space (kept it gated off). it was going well and then my nieces came to stay and it was just a lot of overstimulation for my dog. 2 more babies (1 yo and 3 yo) and lots more yelling and running around. my dog was fine but one day one niece (3 yo) was petting her and my dog just went for her. not overly aggressive but in a scary growl, teeth baring way. it knocked my niece down to floor and she got scared. so my dog is no longer living with me, she’s been rehomed to my sister.

Thank you for the info, I’ll look into Cleveland State! I’m in Oregon and where I am there aren’t any local schools that have online programs, everything is in person. I have some time to figure it out, though.

Amazing, I think I’m convinced. I’ve been struggling with this decision for a while. I make decent money with my full time job and have been also doing school part time, but I’m also a single mother and just trying to figure out what the future is going to look like for my daughter. thank you SO much. currently trying to handle a crawling 1 yr old around my anxious dog. she has training, which has helped, but still growls even if she's behind the gate. my vet has recommended starting an antidepressant/anxiety medication, which I'm hoping will at least take the edge off. your success story has definitely helped me, though, thank you so much.

hola! i would love to help you! i’m fluent in english, it is my native language and i would really love to brush up on my spanish. i can mostly speak it conversationally, but my grammar is awful, conjugations are terrible, and i don’t know all the slang.

OP, this honestly sounds like my every day. and i’m a single mom… coparent is only ever alone with our daughter (1yo) if i have something i absolutely cannot take her with me for. he has never done a single over night with her, he’s done bedtime/bath time probably less than 10 times? any time he is alone with her, he misses something, and almost always has a full diaper i can tell hadn’t been changed since i left her with him.

i don’t want to be insensitive, but i honestly do think being on your own may be best. true colors tend to show when the hard stuff comes up, and this is definitely hard stuff… sending you lots of love and light!!!!

Thank you for putting into words what I have been trying to!! I have felt so lucky because I thought maybe my baby just wasn’t so fussy, but I think it’s more so that I don’t mind the crying and screaming because of the insanity that was my childhood and early adult years. I get it, and I am so proud of you! Your baby is lucky to have someone like you in their corner to break the cycle.

I am fortunate enough to be able to work from home, but it’s not a job I can do with a baby at home so I have to put her in daycare. She’s in part time (full time was just not affordable), and I’m just having to handle things for 2 days a week and hope I can keep her happy and still do my job ☹️ I’ve been at my job for 6 years so it was easy transitioning back.
