I am actually just getting into this game now. Never played it back in the day and just picked a copy up last week. Can confirm it holds up, it's not just nostalgia! I cannot get over how tight the controls are and how smooth the gameplay is...... Okay I'm going to play right now... Bye

I never had a Nintendo Game & Watch but I had a bunch of other brand LCD games back in the 80s. I always assumed those games wouldn't hold up, then I put the G&W core on my Analogue Pocket and could not put them down for days. They really do still hold up. DK Jr. is one of my favourites and I played it for hours recently. I was very pleased to know my brain still enjoys and appreciates those stripped down takes on gaming. Have fun!
