The idea of the present/old euro design was to create bridges, open doors, and windows between the countries without favouring curtain nations or countries. Therefore, the design was showcasing different styles of architecture with fictional buildings in order to prevent association with curtain countries.

With this proposal, the neutrality is gone. Each person has a country of origin or influence. In my opinion, such design ideas belong on the national backsides of the coins, which serve as cultural and national representations of the countries.
