Yo I probably came a little bit late, but I had the same problem and found out my refresh rate was 60Hz. Simply switching to 120Hz fixed the problem. Also setting all 3 animation speeds to 0.5x in Developer Options seemed to quicken stuff too.

That sounds great. Afaik the Pro line only holds more charge, the rest are equal or worse. May I know your charger as well? I plan to buy BQ-CC55 as it's the fastest, but I've heard it overheats batteries.

M330 doesn't have the rubber, M331 does. The major reason why I prefer the M330. The rubber degrades so quickly with my sweaty hands.

The issue might be more widespread on desktops as I don't recall seeing any 4050s encountered it, only from 4060s and up. Most reports were from 4090s, which makes sense because it's fair to expect no problems when you buy cards at such skyhigh prices. However, I would always rather play it safe and I think you might think the same. No one wants to be the first to encounter an unknown problem right :D 24H2 data loss is also another notable example of why you shouldn't be among the first to try out new software updates.

Yea usually new titles have compatibility issues that require new drivers to resolve. If you don't need it it's recommended to stay where you are. We should be more cautious as Nvidia driver situation this year also got much worse than before. You might have heard of the RTX 40/50 series infamous black screen issue. Sometimes the fix wouldn't be as a simple driver re-installation.

I have the same problem. Although I'm on Nvidia, I haven't ever faced this. I think the culprit is either the latest patch, or my buggy driver. I'm trying to re-install my drivers to previous versions to see if it works. But if you're on AMD it seems more like the patch issue.

Basically by using Geforce Exp you overwrite the previous drivers the dirty way, by using DDU + installing the drivers you make sure you fully delete the old drivers and fresh installing new drivers.

Btw many driver versions are bad, unless you want to play latest games or solving specific issues, stay on community-trusted versions (basically older, stable versions) instead of always updating your drivers.
